“I can tell you that both Ron and Rand will have an important role in the convention and their supporters and ideals will be well represented,” said Jesse Benton, who managed Ron Paul’s presidential campaign.

WASHINGTONPOST.COM reports:
An initial list of GOP convention speakers doesn’t include either Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) or his son, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.)
include rep ron paul r-texas son sen rand paul r-ky

First of all you are wrong!

I took a screen shot of the headline I answered

    Liberty Truth Ron Paul

Ron Paul is not a "Former Candidate" unless you are referring to the Republican party's grave mistake of election 2008.

Ron Paul is currently a presidential candidate for election 2012. The only problem we have as a country is letting the main stream media elect our leaders for us.

Why did they "black out" the "Campaign for Liberty" when they were clearly gaining more support than douche bag Romney?

You didn't see this on TV did you?

leaders black campaign liberty gaining support douche bag romney tv

    You didn't see this either.

I hope Ron Paul pulls off a coup at the convention. Romney and Obama are both puppets of the NWO and the bankers, they offer no solutions to the problems we face as a country, they are both BS artists.

Ron Paul tells you the truth and has the solutions. He can "lead by example" and wants America to do the same.

    Liberty Truth Ron Paul

He fought all the way and that should be recognized. While all of the others dropped out for whatever reason, Ron Paul fought on.

I must admire his courage and tenacity.

I was even hoping that Romney would choose him as a running mate which would have picked up the spoiler votes which are going to be out there if Mr. Paul tries to run 3rd party.

At this point, Mr. Paul would best serve our country by putting his support behind Mr. Romney to remove Mr. obama from the office. We conservatives of all degrees can take these next four years to mend fences and form a strong conservative party weeding out the RINOs as we do it.

By continuing to run as a third party he will only help obama to be re-elected. We really don't need that.

He should be President. He's the only candidate willing to acknowledge the danger of our association with Israel and the Jewish Lobby's AIPAC buying and selling of our "representatives"...

I like some of what Paul says, but a vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Obama. It will split the vote and give Obama the plurality, just as it did Clinton in 1992.

With the announcement of Ryan being picked as Romney's VP choice i think Paul should change to a 3rd party candidate that way when Romney loses since he just lifted a big F U to the Independents and Moderates the right will have a scapegoat to blame just like Liberals blamed Bush for everything for 3 years, the Republicans are no better because it couldn't possibly be THEM.

Do you believe Ron Paul has a chance of winning the GOP ticket being a Libertarian with left wing supporters? Obviously you haven't seen the poll numbers. All of those on the left that has seen and knows RP is toast and will vote for Obama.

I doubt that the RINO's will do anything except kick Paul under the bus. Then you can expect all hell to break loose. The only thing about which Paul might be considered "liberal" is anti-war, by those who remain warmongers.

The left will be sticking with Obama, dummies that they are.

But if he were featured he might make Mittens look bad, like he doesnt do that on his own. I think the GOP knows full well that they have their party all but brainwashed, so all of Ron Paul's truth's would just fall on deaf ears.

while that is probably very true, it takes more than honesty to be a good leader of this country.. Paul has some good qualities but I do not believe he is an effective or well balanced person to lead and I also believe that we must vote for Romney to make sure we get obama out of the white house.. he may not be our ideal but for one term he will make some positive changes and prevent obama taking us down the road to communism..and more poverty.
