Sarah Palin has been completely out of the news for the first time in over 4 years. What is she up to? You may love her or hate her, but do you miss her as part of the political landscape?

Last May, a cult-like throng of journalists chased Sarah Palin and her bus along the East Coast, eager that she’d drop the slightest of hints that would answer an almost fanatical question: Was she jumping into the GOP primary? This weekend she gave a speech in front of hundreds of supporters, revving them up with some of her favorite lines — blasting both President Obama and “crony capitalism” and calling the “bitter clingers” to action.

She has been 'out of the news' because the Chitcag0bama dogs are busy creating lies about others at the moment.

However, she has been doing her weekly spots on FOX abhout 2-3 times a week and continuing to speak at events. She'll be 100% hands-on with her support after the Conventions and the left will have some fresh reasons to go into their spastic convulsions and foam at the muzzle.

Ms.Palin's voice is in my mind directly related to the outcome of the past presidential election. When an electorate acts as it did overlooking a war vet. and a well qualified
''citizen', John McCain, over the give-away liberal who occupies the WhiteHouse presently, it says forget what made the USA: hard working individuals, and instead replace with the gimme, gimme, gimme individuals, it demonstrates that a large portion of us is definitely a destructive reverse type mentality citizenry. Our traditional past which made us great has been replaced by the give away programs that have been abused and used; too many people of which have no traditional feelings for this country, as they come here for the benefits/give-a-ways and no other reason. I feel this pain in Ms. Palin's voice as any REAL AMERICAN should.

p.s. Why do people still call her "Governor Palin?" She was governor for, what, 3 minutes before she punked out?

Leave the woman alone, obviously the reason she's not in the media is because she might not want to be in the media. I don't care about, but why give reason to. If I was her I'd try to stay out the public eye for as long as possible, which might be what see's doing.

Don't get me wrong, I love her. She's smarter than her detractors give her credit for, she is consistent in thought despite the vitriolic hatred spewed at her at every given opportunity. I love her, but don't miss her.

Sarah Palin was proven right on energy policy, right on national defense, right on her opposition to socialized medicine and right on the economy.

What I find most amusing is that liberals educated in Ivy League schools scoffed Palin, mocked her education, heaped scorn upon her commitment to her family, belittled her accomplishments as governor of Alaska and challenged her qualification for the role of vice president.

Then without any hint of irony voted for the buffoon Joe Biden who is too busy engaging in scotch-adelled racist jokes to plagiarize his next speech and incite the labor unions to their next act of thuggery.

No greater fool than he who is convinced of his intellectual superiority.

God bless you Sarah Palin. History has vindicated you, you betcha!

Okay Art. If we're going to get down to this prickly, pedantic level of parsing syntax and consulting the dictionary, fine. "Abandon" isn't a lie, it's hyperbole. She took a vow to do a job she was elected to do, and midway through that term she quit. No she didn't literally flee, but giving your word to complete your term and then just abruptly quitting is a moral failure. So I used the hyperbolic term "abandon" because, ethically, that's what her action feels like to me.

How would you define her quitting her term?
