My opinion is; He 'scammed' his way to the 2008 nomination, just like he 'scammed' his way to the Presidency. But that's behind us, just like the Birth Certificate or what 'clubs' he belonged to in College are behind us. Whether it's a one term presidency or not I don't know. From what I do see so far neither Obama or Romney seem to have any real idea how to jumpstart this economy. Trickle down will do little and Obama creating expensive jobs bill after jobs bill won't do it. However it is done , a large amount of disposible income will have to be put into the hands of the huge middle class. Only the American middle class can move this economy forward and cuts still have to be made.

Edited to add: He has turned the economy around, especially in terms of private sector job creation (he has greatly reduced the number of government jobs — he’s actually shrinking the government! — which makes the overall unemployment figures [which include both public and private sectors] look worse):
