I honestly think that a legit religion should be tax exempt. With their schools & hospital, they do a lot of good. But this bible banger, Mormon, Scientology, sucking up the revenue has got to stop.

Knights of Columbus Life Insurance is one of the biggest in the world. Should they not be treated the same as any other Life Insurance company? Those hospitals are for profit, shouldn't those profits be taxed? I'll give them their schools as tax exempt because most of them are not for profit.

When I was a kid, everyone was poor, and everyone went to Catholic hospitals. They turned no one away or asked if they were Catholic. Is the Deseret Ranch tax free? Absolutely. 450 sq.miles outside Orlando, 1,700 acres of citrus, 44,000 head of Mormon cattle, and never a thought of doing a spec of good for anyone.

I agree, with you on the hospitals, except that they are a business and should be treated as a business with the same regulations as far as hiring practices and minimum wage laws etc.
