Well, when I logged in yesterday it was fine, then i logged into a MJ poll and my system got attacked. It hink the FBI is tracking the rat bastards now though. This is the htird time it has happened on a soadhead poll. And the FBI is close to finding the creator of the viruses that keep doing it. I hope they string that person up, it is costing me a fortune.

The "screwing up" of our finances started long before Bush and there is enough blame to go around. I do agree with you that Bush opened up a can of worms when he started this bail out fiasco. But to "remedy" it by making it worse makes no sense.
I think we as Americans, right AND left need to get our representatives to stop sellling our children and grandchildren into slavery. It isn't a "right" or "left" thing. It's a survival thing.
I could go into unending detail about the Iraq war, but most of my efforts to do so are fruitless when discussing it with people who have already made up their minds.
I can only concede that as with many things we do, hindsight is way better than foresight. We could have made better decisions had we known then what we know now.
Nevertheless, the money spent on the war is dwarfed in comparison to the current spending spree going on in Washington. Most of our brains don't think in terms of "billions" so it slides on by us. But if you consider that the interest alone on our current debt stands at about $26 billion a month. That's over $300 billion a year sent to creditors (read foreign countries). This is money not used toward education, defense, infrastructure... Common sense says we can't sustain this. And in 2019 this interest is projected to balloon to $806 billion.
Spread the blame over the last 100 years if you like, but while we are playing the blame game, someone needs to take a stand for sanity. While we bicker over partisan ideologies, we have mortgaged our future and that of our offspring. If we don't hold our leaders accountable and stop the madness, our offspring will one day curse us.
As I figured, make excuses, use faulty facts, but never take any of the blame, just like good right wingers ........... a most pathetic bunch of idiots!
