Because I understand the pain both Bella and Edward felt. Bella thought she was going to die without him, and Edward had to be strong enough to walk away from the only reason for him to live...And I actually admire him for that, even though he should´ve understand that bella couldn´t get by without him. He was wiling to stand the pain of losing her, just to keep her safe,even safe from himself.

That´s probably the hardest thing one can ever do!

First i was in totally shock, then all of a sudden my heart was in totally pain to think he was really gone it hurt so much! Thats when the tears came it hurt so badly, but i kept reading cause i knew he would come back he had to he was like the star of the whole story, why EDWARD? Why did u have to leave???? I wasnt mad intil later to think he left her, when she loved him so much he couldnt have gottin over her that fast i mean they were like perfect together 2 halfs of a heart no more than that a whole heart they were combined! It tore me apart to see him leave! I did not crack up only people who hate Twilight, Edward, and Bella would do that!

I just found it.....amusing that one of the first things they did in the book was break up the two that it took so much trouble to get to gether in the first book.

And NO, I didn't crack up.....per say.......

about 2 months and i cried my eyes out then i fleped to the back and saw he came back and i knew that i had to keep reading and the book would be so good and now its my fav book in the twilight saga cant wate for the movie to come out looking forward to that

I cried cos how could Edward leave Bella after eeverything he had said! I also wanted to throw the book across the room but wanted to keep on reading to find out if Bella would ever forgive Edward, and was so glad when he came back.
