When does "forward" begin? Obama's campaign suggested that he wanted to country to go forward. It seems, since he was voted back into office for another 4 years, that the people who voted for him wanted the same result: a forward movement.
What does "forward" mean? It means many things. As far as I understand, this is the definition of "forward" Obama was campaigning toward:
What does "forward" mean? It means many things. As far as I understand, this is the definition of "forward" Obama was campaigning toward:
4: moving, tending, or leading toward a position in front; also: moving toward an opponent's goal
5: advocating an advanced policy in the direction of what is considered progress
(from Marriam-Webster's dictionary)
I question again: When does Obama intend to start going forward?
It has been about three weeks since the election yet we are still to see any movement away from what happened in the past. We are still hearing the same boring talking points that were taking place before the election and during the election. It continues after the election.
Isn't it time for Obama to move forward beyond blaming the Republicans for his failure to enact any policy or to negotiate any policy that would put the American people and the nation first? If he were truly interested in avoiding the fiscal cliff, he would seek to put what is best for the country before creating petty squabbles and opposition between Members of Congress.

GWB once said "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." We saw what happened for the past four years, and reelected Obama anyway. Yes, I know it's possible (though not definite) Romney might have really won were it not for some Democratic vote counting shenanigans and ballot stuffing in 4-5 major swing states, but the truth is that both candidates got roughly 50% of the popular vote. Since we fell for it twice, we have only ourselves to blame.
Forward into the grave!
We all know where "forward" takes you when your facing the edge of a cliff. Don't we?
Establishment GOP is selling us out to the banksters and international socialists.
Boehner is purging true fiscal conservatives from the GOP. Check it out.
So true fiscal and liberty minded conservatives will fight it another way..
Here's what's going on: we're at a stalemate because democrats refuse to work with the GOP. The day after the election, John Beohner(R)--Speaker of the House--offered to work with Democrats to keep us from going over the fiscal cliff. On the same day, Harry Reid(D)--Senate Majority Leader--declared that he would NOT work with the GOP. Obama has stated that he will VETO any bill passed by the House and the Senate that does not follow his agenda.
Once the democrats stop playing games, stop stalling and start doing what is best for the country instead of playing the blame game, we will get somewhere. Until then, we are stalled just as we have been stalled for the last 4 years.
bama won't be happy until all your money is gone.
