This article in the Washington Post gives more details about what a disaster the handling of the aftermath of the assassination of Ambassador Chris Stevens and 3 other Americans has been.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/middle_east/sensitive-doc...

On page 2, the article mentions that the purported FBI investigative team is still in Tripoli, "hundreds of miles" from the Benghazi consulate.

So when do you think the FBI will arrive in Benghazi to begin its ongoing investigation?

It is funny how the FBI still does not have boots on the ground because it is too dangerous, but reporters have been freely walking around the within days afterward. I am sure that any informatiion negative to Obama and his administration will be burried, just like it has been with Solandra and every other mess up.

    Score another debacle for Obama & friends. CNN's reporting of this, using Ambassador Stevens journal, got them in hot water;
9/21 CNN reports that months prior Stevens was worried about security threats-he specifically mentioned the rise in Islamist extremism, the growing Al queda prescence in Libya, & said he was on an Al Queda hitlist.
CNN said they'd found the journal on a largely unsecured consulate compound, 9/15

    Where were the FBI?

The State Debt (Obama) threw a hissy fit that the journal & contents were made known to the public. If CNN hadn't reported it, I highly doubt we'd ever have known about it.

The State Dept. Reines wrote "Whose first instinct is to remove from a crime scene the diary of a man killed along with 3 other Americans serving our country, read it, transcribe it, email it around your newsroom for others to read, & only when their curiosity is fully satisfied thinks to call the family or notify the authorities?"

Notice the usual blame game? The assassination of ones motives, or integrity? To serve to cover up the lack of Obummer doing ANYTHING to respond to this NATIONAL SECURITY TERRORIST ATTACK? He didn't want people to know, & especially didnt want them to know it was terrorists.

CNN responded...why is the State Dept now attacking the messenger? (them...

This cover up needs alot more uncovering-like why, still, is there no investigating?
I think there was a foul up between Egypt, Libya, & barry's role, & what & when it happened.
Rice should get in trouble, & Clinton-especially for ordering blanks be used! & Obummer most of all, should get a full-on media/America blitz for his crass, unAmerican cover up for his own personal gain-his campaign.

A fake investigation will take place, now that fake documents have been scattered at the unsecured Villa (the real ones are at the secured Embassy in Tripoli). Plus that fake journal that CNN found ( my guess is that it came directly from the WH Photo Shop lab and was shipped by currier to CNN's Atlanta headquarters - something to boost their ratings)

Why would the FBI do the investigation when their boss Eric Holder was in Qatar the whole time overseeing the operation? I suspect the investigation was already done before the State Department sent Amb Stevens into a trap.

What the FBI should be investigating is the Fast and Furious gun running from Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine to Turkey for the Syrian rebels (75% of which are the Al Qaeda / Q-SOP JV - same people that did the Ambassador). They got smart this time and are using Russian Weapons, something not so easily traced. I guess that explains Amb Stevens many and frequent trips between Europe and Benghazi.

Obama has always wanted to leave his secrets buried and this is another case. Classified information has been compromised and he knows it. He wants this to just go away. Just like he wanted "Fast and Furious" to disappear.

With the going price at $4 an hour for security guards in Benghazi, it's possible they consider the FBI is not worth that kind of sacrifice.

It would appear the FBI decided that it doesn't wish to loose any more Americans. We seem to have a reasonable idea of some of the people who did it. Hopefully we are monitoring them to find out who their associates are.

Course we already know Bush gave the orders and Romney financed the attack. LOL.

I don't care how perfect how Constitution is, the President, as we have seen, has too much power. We are over 312 million citizens in the hands of ONE man. For all the talk about checks and balances, there a huge doughnut hole where nothing exists to prevent unwanted or unwarranted actions by that ONE man!

Benghazi should have been handled swiftly and thoroughly without permission from anyone except the DOD. When you call 911 to report a fire, a fire engine comes! No one has to call the fire chief and the fire chief doesn't have to call the governor!

I saw that today on the news, and apparently Lockheed Martin is going to go along with it. This is breaking the law. Obama is knowingly telling a company to disregard the law by saying they should pretend they might not be laying off the 128,000 people right before the election. Then he adds that the company does not have to worry, if they are sued or there are legal ramifications, the American taxpayer will foot the bill for any legal fees and employee settlements. Lockhead already told the admistration that these layoffs were certain and the notices were going out. Now the president is telling them to usurp the law so he can be re-elected. What choice does Lockhead have? If they do not go along, they will also lose future governement contracts, and incure the Obama wrath.

Disgusting isn't it, Obama follows the law only when he wants to and then when it costs something it's us, the American tax payer, that foots the bill as usual. Obama is a despicable disgrace who has no right to expect to be reelected. OBAMA in 2012!!
