Stupid law. They make parents responsible for minors, yet don't give them any rights. If an underage girl is pregnant and seeking an abortion, the parents have the right to know.

Depends on their age...minors need approval for all medical procedures...otherwise I have no problem an abortion is the total and absolute decision of the woman...it is her body after all ...

I would not be happy if I found out my daughter had an abortion without my knowing. Until she is 18 I am responsible for her.

They got pregnant, without permission, whether it was consensual or not, why should one mistake, or what may even have been an attack on their person be allowed to ruin the rest of their life, or let it be decided by someone else's moral compass?
Why is it that life loses its value once it is shoved out of the womb?

Hereabouts, parents are responsible for the actions of their kids as well as for their welfare. Parents have a right and duty to know!

My thought is - if one is under 18 parental consent should be viable for any major decision by their children. It's our obligation to direct and guide them in a path best for them

I'm entirely pro-choice, but I do think parent should have rights over minors. We do have processes in place for legal emancipation.
