Would of liked to chosen every choice. However I choose the fave war against stay at home moms. Obviously this is an effort to counterattack the GOP war on women. By saying the Dems are waging a war on stay at home moms. Heck Romney waged a war against moms on public assistance stating they needed to be working. The Republicans say stay at home moms. Yet they don't include every stay at home mom. Hypocrites.

There are some things that some in the GOP are wrong about, but compared to the wrongheadedness of the Democrat Socialist Party, they are of near piddling consequence. I oppose the restrictive limits on immigration, but I do want the government to know who is here. I am in favor of a woman having the right to chose whether to have an abortion or not or to use contraceptives or not, but I oppose forcing people to contribute to paying for abortions and contraceptives for others. I believe that gay people have the same rights to a domestic partnership contract that any heterosexual couple have. Gay people also have the right to serve in the military. I will point out that the Log Cabin Republicans brought the lawsuit that ended DADT, which the Democrat Socialist Party (DSP) President opposed. Obama has yet to show the courage to end DOMA. My stand on these issues is not uncommon among others in the Republican Party.

Meanwhile, the DSP wants to spend us into unsustainable debt and keeps implementing new programs which cannot possibly be sustained and which damage the private sector. The private sector they love to kick and rob, has lost the ability to create jobs and can only grow the GDP at a rate equal to the population growth. This has left us with a real per capita G...

This has left us with a real per capita GDP which is still lower than it was in December 2007 and with everyone's standard of living depressed. The most recent of 3 false recoveries is now failing to materialize. The government is becoming more tyrannical with each passing day. ObamaCare is shooting our medical costs upward, depriving us of control over our own minds and bodies, and is leading to a severe rationing of medical care for the very treatments one most needs insurance to cover, namely major operations and sicknesses. ObamaCare raises many taxes. Our corporate tax is now the highest in the developed world, making it hard for American companies to produce and hire in America.

Obama dictates more and more executive orders, each bypassing Congress. The EPA is working overtime to cripple American industry. The FDA, the FCC, the FTC, the NRLB, the SEC, and the FDIC are doing all they can to destroy businesses and the private sector also. We have never, ever seen such a power grab in my lifetime. Obama may beat out even Woodrow Wilson and FDR as tyrannical monsters.

The War on stay at home moms it truly a trumped up issue. Ann Romney had a choice as to whether to work or stay at home. Most American women don't.

Yeah, at times Ann had to struggle with the bills on their mansion by chipping away at their stocks. And, she couldn't even entertain. It must be hard to be a regular mom. Even for the bloody rich.

And of course the latest is Hillary Rosen's comment that Ann Romney never worked outside the house a day in her life. Oh, the humanity! Funny how silent they've been about crackpot, whackjob, draft dodger Ted Nugent's comments which are the height of hyperbolic rhetoric and therefore completely ok w/ the Connedservatives.

I'm all with you. What does Ted Nugent/Dick Cheney/Newt Gingrich/ Williard Romney all have in common? They all dodged the draft during Viet Nam. Nugent went as far as pooping his pants several times due to fear of selection. Yeah, big tough guys.

Yeah, I'm sure all of those drugs he took during his "hey day" is what cooked his brain. He pooped his pants didn't he? Oh, when he was 30 he also did a jail-bait-rape on a 16 year old. And Romney supports him? Don't tell me he didn't know.

For the moment its that as a child Obama was offered dog meat. That is suppose excuse what Romney did to his dog as an adult. Whats really funny is that they are just finding out now when a lot of folks I talk to on this site have claimed to have read his book, when I had told them they were taking other parts of the book out of context.

Where to start... Keep in mind, I AM NOT liberal, progressive, nor am I a democrat, but the GOP lost me several years ago over the following issues (P.S., while I fit the description of a WASP, I find that term offensive, I'm not a bug):

    1. The constant attacks against education. The hate spewed out toward the dedicated workers of the education profession makes me sick.

    2. The flat out LIE that schools are socialist propaganda centers.

    3. The lie that all people who are poor, homeless, broke, or down on their luck simply aren't working hard enough.

    4. Turning my lord and savior, Jesus Christ, into a mascot.

    5. The birther issue.

    6. The lie that Obama is a Muslim.

    7. The absolute lack of sane, reasonable, capable candidates running for office.

    8. The double standard: "Democrats want to restrict your speech with political correctness, but we'll tell you how to think with our one-dimensional approach to "morality."

    9. The "my way or the highway" approach. If you do not tow the far-right line on every issue and talking point, then you are a liberal/socialist/communist/t... I could be wrong, but I bet a lot of democrats and liberals died on 9/11 as well.

    10. Grasping at straws to throw every red herring possible into the election. And why not? The GOP pretty much threw this election last fall when they trotted this freak show of candidates out.

    and finally:

Failing to admit that the world has moved on. This is actually a problem that both parties face. People apply values to a world that no longer exists. The world changes, and political stances need to adapt or they become irrelevant.
