What's More Important: Freedom or Safety?

With the latest shooting tragedy in Colorado, gun control is undoubtedly on everyone's mind. I know it's not as black and white as "freedom vs. safety" but people in the "pro-gun" camp seem to cite freedom, liberty and the 2nd amendment while talking about their right to carry guns. And as for the "anti-gun" camp, many cite the safety and well-being of the general public, as criminals and people with mental disorders will not have such easy access to weapons that kill. What do you think is more important: freedom or safety?

No! What she is, is a traitor to the Supreme Law of the Land, and so are Obama, Romney, and all members of the fed gov (elected or hired) who cowtow to the UN on any issue which attempts to negate any part of our Constitution or the banksters who want to bleed us into poverty.

If the People were enforcing the Constitution on the fed gov they way it was intended that we do, these traitors would be executed with extreme prejudice. Unfortunately, the American people have not enforced the Constitution on the fed gov since Lincoln, which is why we are in the messes we are in with the bankers controlling the economy for their benefit (while the people suffer the loss of their jobs, their homes and their economic security), the warmongers getting us involved in conflicts around the world (so our military is not here to protect our own shores), and our own policiticans selling us out to the UN (those despots who intend to rule the entire world), and the highest bidders among the banking and other special interest lobbyists.

The " POINT " is that , IF & WHEN Obama signs this ( and the Senate refuses to back it ) , it will lay on the shelf until such time as we get a " LOADED " House & Senate with another anti-gun president AND " THEN " WE ARE SCREWED !

This is a perfect time for all 50 States to exercise the 10th Amendment. It is one thing to make treaties with individual nations. It is entirely something else to make them with a private entity that is dedicated to world domination. Especially one that is run and backed by those that wish to see the destruction of the United States Of America and it's Constitutions.

The United Nations' "Arms Trade Treaty" Conference is in full swing in New York City.

Anti-gun international bureaucrats are already bragging that this conference will craft "the most important initiative ever regarding arms regulation . . ."

In fact, after keeping the details of their so-called "Small Arms Treaty" quiet for three years, the gun-grabbers are now coming clean with EXACTLY what they want . . .

Full-scale GLOBAL gun registration followed by confiscation, especially in the U.S.

To make matters worse, Hillary Clinton has already given this anti-gun nightmare the Obama administration's full blessing.

Safety and freedom go hand in hand, the more freethe more safe. It's when you start limiting freedom via the government that makes it not safe for anyone.

In my opinion if you don't have freedom you at risk of the "thought" police. I don't agree with the gun law in the US. It was introduced at a very different time and I don't believe the amendment was intended for modern times. The thing is ... if the baddies want to acquire guns they will find a way to do it no matter what. Fear is also a weapon and it's pernicious. There must be warning signs before the nut jobs kill. Why is it that no one notices? Now there's a thing

The freedom to own a gun IS our guarantee of safety!!! There will always be mentally ill people who will get their hands on weapons. If not a gun then a knife or sword or ax. And Obama is NOT a threat to the Second Amendment.Rescinding, or otherwise amending the 2nd Amend. would never get through congress. Not if those jackoffs value their lives. Ignorance and apathy and jackoff politicians are the threats to the 2nd Amendment. I have yet to hear of an instance where a gun, of it's own accord, jumped up and shot some one. When THAT happens I'll consider stricter gun laws than those currently ON THE BOOKS!!! And for the record; I stand left of center, And am a proud veteran!!! Defend the Constitution!!! Repeal the Patriot Act !!!

I know that the apartment was booby trapped with a great amount of sophistication. How does an unemployed Medical student get the training to do this? The money?

There is a reason behind everything. Why would anyone get upset if Obama signs the NDAA taking away all your rights? Now they have to take away all your guns. How they going to do that?

Well just show em that any crazy looney can go on a mindless shooting rampage.

Did you happen to see my blog about TERROR here in Denver just last week? The new Terror exhibit? Guess what they were promoting?

NDAA has nothing to do with with taking away guns.
