I think the main result is the Tea Party has to be recognized as a legitimate political faction. The Republicans can't take them for granted as they did the Religious Right of the 80's. The real result is Obama has to realize he can't rely on the unions alone to carry him in November. Although the top admins are 100% behind Obama, their people obviously aren't. They may not vote Republican, but they very likely won't vote at all. And lastly, MSNBC is still 100% blinded by partisanship. Calling it too close to call with a 6% margin was hysterical. On a more local level I think you'll see governors all over the country willing to take on organized labor in an effort to balance their budgets and actually do something progressive for their states.

The people won; the unions lost. But the Progressives won't give up.

I hope it put unions in their place for (at least) a while.

nothing, people are still being whiny brats, they threw the punch and STILL got beat and now they're claiming it was rigged because they didn't get what they wanted again...
They're still the same whiny losers they were before and they're still pitching a fit that would put a 3 year old to shame.

Not so much a change as a vindication.

Nice Question . . . I don't think that we have seen the Impact just yet . . . All because the Mayor of Milwaukee turned to the "let's all get along" MODE; so to speak . . . it's difficult to answer just yet. I wonder what John Casick thinks about it (Ohio)???
