Did you not read what I said properly? What is PC about what I said, I ask you? Did you go all the way through or stop at the first sentence? I'm sorry if you did that, because the opening salvo was supposed to be sarcastic. And if I wrote it poorly, I apologize.

I was being sarcastic when I mentioned not to refer to illegals as "illegal" anymore. That is what the liberals are saying now. Not me. By golly, certainly not me. Far as I'm concerned, I am fluent in the English language and I know what the word illegal means. Unfortunately, it seems there are a large group of jackasses who do not know the meaning of illegal!

Go to the bottom of my statement where I clearly say: "...if you get a person and find out he or she is illegal? Then the discussion ENDS THERE. There is NO discussion to be had, because the person is ILLEGAL, people! And ILLEGAL means they are not legal and, therefore, they don't have any damned rights. Good grief, what part of illegal don't these people understand?"

By the way, I don't "claim" to be conservative, I AM conservative. And if you try for one second to lump me into the category with progressive liberals, I will show you precisely what it looks like to be catapulted over the border, kiddo! How's that for being pissed off, huh? (That last part was said with a crooked smile on my face; little humor to lighten the situation, as it were.)

Did I clear it up for you? I surely hope so. I don't want anybody thinking I even look in the direction of left, let alone live there. Hah!

You being a legal citizen makes you simply what you and I both are: Americans. I think it's really nice, sometimes super neat, to find out that I have got an ancestor who was [whatever] and did [whatever]. That is all well and good. But I am an Amer9ican, period. Evidently so are you. Great. Now, I'd like to visit your house and find out what kinds of family traditions your ancestors managed to ingrain into your family "genes," so to speak, and see if there are any I'd like to sample. Food habits are my most favorite. But, you know, after a couple generations, sometimes the "newer" generation doesn't quite like one of the old traditions and, voila! you get a brand new one this year from the youngster with the new ideas.

See, that's just about the only type of conversation people should be having over where their grandparents came from or who they're descended from way back when. Other than that? Who gives a rat's ass! Seriously.

I do not mean that to be insulting. I mean that to be the cold, hard truth. You are what and who YOU are. If my ancestor, for instance, was Jack the Ripper, am I going to murder you tomorrow? Or do I even have the capability of murdering anybody, period?

People have got to get off this race crap. It's one big, huge vehicle to hide behind and do battle when the mood suits. I'm getting extremely tired of the hyphenated Americans too. As the years pass, more and more of these hyphenated families actually lose any ties they may have to "the old country," if they ever had any at all, and I swear it's just an excuse to build a wardrobe of interesting clothing.

Now try tracking genealogy for a little while. You know, Mom's side of the family tree, Dad's side of the family tree. I get lost after two generations. I simply cannot keep track of anyone anymore after that. Notice the mixture of races, colors, religions -- you name it, the blood is so mixed it's almost impossible to figure out the main genetic ingredients anymore. So now what are the Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons and KKK's and so on and so forth of this world going to do? Who are they going to target by physical description for their ridiculous theme of hatred? Of course those old horses are going to be gone by the time the problem gets really big, as will I, but I hope I'll be able to look down (not up) and check out the confusion from the radicals on what to target next.

I believe we've already seen a little backfire from the race claims just recently in our corrupted politics game. I wish I had paid total attention and I'm sorry to sound so ignorant but perhaps you'll know what I'm talking about. The woman who's running for some office -- Congress? Local? I don't recall -- and she comes out with a claim of being part American Indian in her lineage. Cherokee, perhaps? Some well-recognized tribe name if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, point being that evidently she's got either zero or microscopic trace of Native American blood in her. She was using that "race card" to try to get votes. Backfired for sure.

In any event, this case was a tragedy no matter what turns out to happen in the end. But knee-jerk reactions based on emotions and ingrained hatreds and all of that evil stuff has got to be stopped. It is a total distortion of the human experiences and it skews justice as well.

Wow, I can see how your experiences have shaped your attitude and I sincerely wish things could have gone differently for you. I honestly do. But you are carrying a huge burden based on exposure to a very small segment of society, albeit the most highly visible segment to you since you lived within it every day of your young life.

I know and understand what you are speaking about when you talk of the table talk in families and the idiocy behind you being "one of the good ones." That is narrow-mindedness at its best, I'm afraid. Please know that not all white conservative people think along those lines. I know my family most certainly never did.

Your belief system, however, is far too entrenched for me to even put a dent in it on this small site, I'm sorry to say, and that is a damned shame. You have absorbed the worst of the best and are missing out on the best of the best. For that I am so sorry.

There is a growing population of black conservatives in this country who are fantastic human beings. Do they get lumped into the "conservative bigots" that you speak of or are they excepted due to their heritage?

Racism starts with you and me. And it grows out of ignorance. Education, socialization are key tools to repairing the damage done by racism; unfortunately, however, there are too many witches standing above the cauldron stirring the pot and not allowing the mixture to blend properly. Those are the Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons of America.

A democratic republic, as the United States of America was intended to be and is going to once again be very soon, is the greatest thing that can happen to you and me and our families and friends. But the continual scratching of the racist sore will only impede any progress we can hope to make during elections and through legal processes. And it is the very tool with which the enemies of our country are succeeding in destroying us.

You say now that white conservatives now hate Arabs who are Muslim. Yet another blatant, broad-brushed exaggeration of fact and fiction put out by the true enemies of America. I heard it summed up recently in this manner -- and, believe me, I do not intend to make a simple little nothing out of such a huge subject, but this assists in understanding what is going on in the Muslim question.

The "good ones" -- yes, that is a terrible adjective for any race of people, isn't it? But I'll use it anyway. The "good" Muslims are the moderates. Then there are the extremists. The teaching of the Muslim religion is that ultimately, the only way for everybody to reach what we are all striving for, according to Mohammed and the teachings of the Q'oran and all that good stuff, is for everybody to BE Muslim. Agreed? Basically the teachings are that there is no acceptable religion outside of Islam, period. No ifs, ands or buts to it.

Now, the moderate Muslims are peace-loving souls and they have lots of patience. Their view of Mohammed's teachings is that everybody is going to become Muslim in the end and all the rewards promised will be theirs, just be patient and live the good life according to the teachings and when the time comes, the infidels will be wiped off the face of the earth and everybody's Muslim and happy.

Then you have the radical Muslims and I think you know what their philosophy is. Kill all non-Muslims. And even kill so-called Muslims who dare to defy Sharia law and the Muslim faith. Okay?

So we have the patient, "nice" Muslims who are willing to "get along" with everybody, no problem. And then the radicals who are anxious to get on with things.

Well, now we are experiencing some trials and tribulations in the world of the Muslims that, for all intents and purposes, appears to be accelerating the actual overtaking of the entire world by Muslims. And the moderate Muslims are seeing this and saying to themselves, "Hey, what's going on here? I thought we had a few hundred years yet before we had to wipe out the infidels." And they're seeing what their religious leaders are telling them are all the signs that Mohammed evidently preached about. Uh-oh.

Now we come to the dilemma of the peace-loving Muslims. To remain true to the religion they have pledged their lives and honor to, they must cease and desist with the tolerance of other religions and join the side of the jihadists and get on with the business of cleaning up this whole dirty world of infidels.

So what you are seeing now, Manuel, is not racism against Muslims by so-called white conservatives. It is, pure and simple, plain old fear. We read about these families in recent news stories who actually killed their daughters. Killed them. For dating non-Muslims. This isn't a rare thing anymore, it's happening more and more frequently. And it's frightening.

Yes, there are people who are ignorant and never going to learn to get along with others and who are lacking in the simplest talents of language and who shout out dirty words and nasty labels and hope that shuts up anybody who disagrees with them. And, yes, there are racists in America. I am so sorry to say this, Manuel, but your writings and conclusions speak of racism as well coming from your side of the table.

Racism and hatred begins and ends with you and me, Manuel. Normal, regular people who are on this earth to do our best to be good folks, to be lovable and loved. But while you and I are fighting over this, Manuel, make no mistake: There are people who are destroying our country and we are wasting our time doing battle over tired, drawn-out feuds. Your emotions are being toyed with, sir, and you are being led down a worn-out path while the real enemies of America are taking away liberties, passing illegal laws and basically turning us into the United States of Failed Europe.

Take control of your emotions. Deal with people one on one, sir. Challenge ridiculous theories with intelligent questions and answers. But most of all, get on with your life and stop allowing people to take away the joys that you have every right to experience. And stop buying the party line that stands solely on the ability to nurture hatred. It is completely self-defeating and serves no one but the evil ones working their black magic on us.

Racism evolved out of whites in this country...That is not racist to say...it's the truth.They gave birth and rise to it. And all racism that followed in this country was because of that. That is why to this day the country is divided in some many issues.

Racism is a very conservative thought...it's their mindset. It's the way they are raised, " watch out for those N!g-gers Jr."...that's why conservatives came up with the term "race card"... so that when some one points out a race truth, they can pull out the race card and dismiss it...

It's the were better then them attitude..and it's still around. Most young black kids " today" wish they were born white or at least a light skin black...I read that not too long ago in a science mag and also in a study that I think Time mag published last year.

Your problem with me is not racism, it is inability to comprehend the written word. Try again. Or not, I don't really care anymore. I totally resent your implication that I have a false smile or that I have any kind of race card in my life whatsoever. The "We're better than them" attitude prevails not just among races, kiddo. It is based on money. Finances. Bucks. Wealth. You name it. The fact that there may be larger communities of one particular ethnic background than another is moot. The "racism" exists as a cloud cover for outright class envy, period.
