What Zimmerman did can help Racist Gun Laws end..

Manuel 2012/06/11 01:17:46
I think all the gun laws are stupid and racist...they don't allow concealed weapons in inner cities were over overwhelmingly blacks and Hispanics are the majority. From what I can see after reading from all the conservative posts ...their view adds up to... guns should only be kept illegal in these inner cities... but kept legal were ever they live..

But in truth...why are there gun laws in America when that clearly goes against the U.S. Constitution? There should be absolutely no gun laws or paper work to fill out on owning one in this Country...Anybody in this country should have the right to buy any kind of gun they want...We should not have laws for guns to be registered...that's all stupid.

.Poor people in inner ghetto cities are the ones that need guns the most to protect themselves from people like Zimmerman and crooked cops...and criminals... and even from White and black racist people and even from some religious groups...and if you go to jail for a felony and do your time you should have the right to own a gun when you come out...

Our government should be handing out free guns and bullets...to anyone that wants or thinks they need one...Just think if Martin had a gun that night...this tragic event would have never happened...

How about you provide some links to these laws you say were designed to specifically keep guns out of the hands of "Poor people in inner ghetto cities". You go to the trouble of doing that and I will do the research that will show you that whatever law you link was introduced and put in to law by Progressives. Once again you are showing you have no clue as to what a true conservative is. For your information we would love to see all law abiding citizens in the inner city armed and willing to use their weapons against lawbreakers. Save tax dollars on housing the criminals in prison.

I already know you don't comprehend what you read, but give it a try and take my challenge. Show these racist discriminatory gun laws that were put in place by conservatives. I want links to the laws, not some left wing blog that says this law is this or this happened then like all the other sources you provide. Actual laws.

. How many rich ppl have held up a bank at gun point so far this year? come on! hurry up! show me.

your the one that said this...I never said anything about rich people robbing banks at gun point... Many of them do all the higher white collar crimes...

and there are plenty of good hard working honest black folks that live in ghettos...the gangs don't out number the hard working class in ghettos...

You make a lot of racist comments....

Gun laws are state county, and city issues. NYC is not likely to give very many people a permit and that includes retired police officers, including a former chief of police.
    California is anti gun.

Now to the point at hand, if you have a valid permit to carry a concealed weapon it cannot be illegal. It may be illegal to take a concealed weapon into a liquor establishment or other select places, but not in the streets as such.

So am I...guns should not have any restrictions...if they are legal to be on some one as a concealed weapon in one place... then that right should be legal all over America... And all gun laws should be banned.

You go to an all black and Hispanic hood anywhere in this country...and take you legal concealed gun into that inner city and pull a Zimmerman...then get back to me....

I've been going round and round with this idiot about Zimmerman for a while now. Like so many others he completely lacks a capacity for reading comprehension. Since there is no proof at this time that Martin attacked Zimmerman, the opposite MUST be true. That's just for starters. I really don't expect an intelligent response for him. I know he's scared to death that what I have asked him for will prove him wrong and show what a moron he is. Either that, or he's trying to organize some way of twisting the laws he finds to match his simple mind and his preconceived ramblings. Frankly, I don't think he is smart enough to Google up anything that isn't a left wing cesspool of misinformation. I could give him suggested cities to start with, you know, like Chicago or San Francisco (that's a hint moron) that have the type of laws he is talking about. Ones that actually do what he claims. But I'm not about to do his leg work for him.

And then do what with them when they find them, hmmm? Oh, yeah, and please don't refer to them as "illegal" anymore, that's insulting. Talk about a travesty. I can't speak intelligently on the subject yet because it pisses me off so much. Sorry for the cuss word. But it does. All the talk of the "rights of illegals." In my mind, if you get a person and find out he or she is illegal? Then the discussion ENDS THERE. There is NO discussion to be had, because the person is ILLEGAL, people! And ILLEGAL means they are not legal and, therefore, they don't have any damned rights. Good grief, what part of illegal don't these people understand?

Wow, that took character to own up to a mistake and then apologize for the reaction. Thank you very much for giving me hope for this human race of ours after all! But, more importantly, I am glad that there is somebody out there who will admit they do something that the Big Dummy here does on more than one occasion -- although I got lucky and haven't been called on it yet -- and that's reading something but NOT reading something, know what I mean? And when I misread something and it's a hot subject, just as with you on this one, my anger gets my fingers going faster than my brain and I chew out some poor bugger who didn't say what I thought he said and -- ohhh, you know what I mean.

But thanks for coming back and clarifying what happened and for having a sense of humor about the whole thing as well. I LOVE senses of humor! Makes the world go 'round, far as I'm concerned.

The Race Card was developed by the right wing think tanks for conservatives whites to take the blame off of them...so they could try to hide their racism...now if something of truth is said about color, they can say race card...and hide behind it. Typical racists conservatives will always resort to that...

You being a legal citizen makes you simply what you and I both are: Americans. I think it's really nice, sometimes super neat, to find out that I have got an ancestor who was [whatever] and did [whatever]. That is all well and good. But I am an Amer9ican, period. Evidently so are you. Great. Now, I'd like to visit your house and find out what kinds of family traditions your ancestors managed to ingrain into your family "genes," so to speak, and see if there are any I'd like to sample. Food habits are my most favorite. But, you know, after a couple generations, sometimes the "newer" generation doesn't quite like one of the old traditions and, voila! you get a brand new one this year from the youngster with the new ideas.

See, that's just about the only type of conversation people should be having over where their grandparents came from or who they're descended from way back when. Other than that? Who gives a rat's ass! Seriously.

I do not mean that to be insulting. I mean that to be the cold, hard truth. You are what and who YOU are. If my ancestor, for instance, was Jack the Ripper, am I going to murder you tomorrow? Or do I even have the capability of murdering anybody, period?

People have got to get off this race crap. It's one big, huge vehicle to hide behind and do battle when the mood suits. I'm getting extremely tired of the hyphenated Americans too. As the years pass, more and more of these hyphenated families actually lose any ties they may have to "the old country," if they ever had any at all, and I swear it's just an excuse to build a wardrobe of interesting clothing.

Now try tracking genealogy for a little while. You know, Mom's side of the family tree, Dad's side of the family tree. I get lost after two generations. I simply cannot keep track of anyone anymore after that. Notice the mixture of races, colors, religions -- you name it, the blood is so mixed it's almost impossible to figure out the main genetic ingredients anymore. So now what are the Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons and KKK's and so on and so forth of this world going to do? Who are they going to target by physical description for their ridiculous theme of hatred? Of course those old horses are going to be gone by the time the problem gets really big, as will I, but I hope I'll be able to look down (not up) and check out the confusion from the radicals on what to target next.

I believe we've already seen a little backfire from the race claims just recently in our corrupted politics game. I wish I had paid total attention and I'm sorry to sound so ignorant but perhaps you'll know what I'm talking about. The woman who's running for some office -- Congress? Local? I don't recall -- and she comes out with a claim of being part American Indian in her lineage. Cherokee, perhaps? Some well-recognized tribe name if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, point being that evidently she's got either zero or microscopic trace of Native American blood in her. She was using that "race card" to try to get votes. Backfired for sure.

In any event, this case was a tragedy no matter what turns out to happen in the end. But knee-jerk reactions based on emotions and ingrained hatreds and all of that evil stuff has got to be stopped. It is a total distortion of the human experiences and it skews justice as well.

There is a growing population of black conservatives in this country who are fantastic human beings. Do they get lumped into the "conservative bigots" that you speak of or are they excepted due to their heritage?

Racism starts with you and me. And it grows out of ignorance. Education, socialization are key tools to repairing the damage done by racism; unfortunately, however, there are too many witches standing above the cauldron stirring the pot and not allowing the mixture to blend properly. Those are the Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons of America.

A democratic republic, as the United States of America was intended to be and is going to once again be very soon, is the greatest thing that can happen to you and me and our families and friends. But the continual scratching of the racist sore will only impede any progress we can hope to make during elections and through legal processes. And it is the very tool with which the enemies of our country are succeeding in destroying us.

You say now that white conservatives now hate Arabs who are Muslim. Yet another blatant, broad-brushed exaggeration of fact and fiction put out by the true enemies of America. I heard it summed up recently in this manner -- and, believe me, I do not intend to make a simple little nothing out of such a huge subject, but this assists in understanding what is going on in the Muslim question.

The "good ones" -- yes, that is a terrible adjective for any race of people, isn't it? But I'll use it anyway. The "good" Muslims are the moderates. Then there are the extremists. The teaching of the Muslim religion is that ultimately, the only way for everybody to reach what we are all striving for, according to Mohammed and the teachings of the Q'oran and all that good stuff, is for everybody to BE Muslim. Agreed? Basically the teachings are that there is no acceptable religion outside of Islam, period. No ifs, ands or buts to it.

Now, the moderate Muslims are peace-loving souls and they have lots of patience. Their view of Mohammed's teachings is that everybody is going to become Muslim in the end and all the rewards promised will be theirs, just be patient and live the good life according to the teachings and when the time comes, the infidels will be wiped off the face of the earth and everybody's Muslim and happy.

Then you have the radical Muslims and I think you know what their philosophy is. Kill all non-Muslims. And even kill so-called Muslims who dare to defy Sharia law and the Muslim faith. Okay?

So we have the patient, "nice" Muslims who are willing to "get along" with everybody, no problem. And then the radicals who are anxious to get on with things.

Well, now we are experiencing some trials and tribulations in the world of the Muslims that, for all intents and purposes, appears to be accelerating the actual overtaking of the entire world by Muslims. And the moderate Muslims are seeing this and saying to themselves, "Hey, what's going on here? I thought we had a few hundred years yet before we had to wipe out the infidels." And they're seeing what their religious leaders are telling them are all the signs that Mohammed evidently preached about. Uh-oh.

Now we come to the dilemma of the peace-loving Muslims. To remain true to the religion they have pledged their lives and honor to, they must cease and desist with the tolerance of other religions and join the side of the jihadists and get on with the business of cleaning up this whole dirty world of infidels.

So what you are seeing now, Manuel, is not racism against Muslims by so-called white conservatives. It is, pure and simple, plain old fear. We read about these families in recent news stories who actually killed their daughters. Killed them. For dating non-Muslims. This isn't a rare thing anymore, it's happening more and more frequently. And it's frightening.

Yes, there are people who are ignorant and never going to learn to get along with others and who are lacking in the simplest talents of language and who shout out dirty words and nasty labels and hope that shuts up anybody who disagrees with them. And, yes, there are racists in America. I am so sorry to say this, Manuel, but your writings and conclusions speak of racism as well coming from your side of the table.

Racism and hatred begins and ends with you and me, Manuel. Normal, regular people who are on this earth to do our best to be good folks, to be lovable and loved. But while you and I are fighting over this, Manuel, make no mistake: There are people who are destroying our country and we are wasting our time doing battle over tired, drawn-out feuds. Your emotions are being toyed with, sir, and you are being led down a worn-out path while the real enemies of America are taking away liberties, passing illegal laws and basically turning us into the United States of Failed Europe.

Take control of your emotions. Deal with people one on one, sir. Challenge ridiculous theories with intelligent questions and answers. But most of all, get on with your life and stop allowing people to take away the joys that you have every right to experience. And stop buying the party line that stands solely on the ability to nurture hatred. It is completely self-defeating and serves no one but the evil ones working their black magic on us.

Have a good weekend and practice smiling. :)

But, Never have I said I hated this family or white people. \I just pointed out some truths and you suddenly dress me up as a person of hate and HAVING an anger for all American whites..that's totally bogus and stupid of you...my wife of 20 years is WHITE. LOL

I have a smile that's not forced. I am not a racist. I understand that I am not the reason for racism to continue on in America...it's people like you who are totally blind to it because you were raised to follow the race card rules to DENY IT...just reading your better then thou rant was physio proof of that.

Well you continue to hide behind your fake smile...and hold on to your race card so you can continue to flash it at the truth... ;)

You need to reread my comments. Manuel. I did not accuse you of racism. I cited that some of your thoughts speak the racist language.

I have been engaged in a huge battle with an idiot lately and I am exhausted trying to explain myself or break through the concrete that encases people's brains, so I am not going to continue on this vein with you any longer, Manuel.

How nice for you that your wife is white. Goody. Who cares? You do, of course, because you love her. At least I hope you do, for her sake and for yours.

Your problem with me is not racism, it is inability to comprehend the written word. Try again. Or not, I don't really care anymore. I totally resent your implication that I have a false smile or that I have any kind of race card in my life whatsoever. You have absolutely no grounds upon which to base such a ridiculous claim and you should be ashamed of yourself for saying it in the first place.

The "We're better than them" attitude prevails not just among races, kiddo. It is based on money. Finances. Bucks. Wealth. You name it. The fact that there may be larger communities of one particular ethnic background than another is moot. The "racism" exists as a cloud cover for outright class envy, period.

And I likewise resent implications that my behavior represents a "better than thou" attitude. My "better than thou" trait is simply an ability to speak and write the English language in a comprehensible fashion and to make points in a certain way. I am not lording that over you, Mister, it is something that I worked hard at and maintained throughout my life. I was blessed with excellent teachers, particularly my English teacher, James Smith. Crusty old fart from Maine. But a great teacher.

I honestly believe you are mistaking proper grammar for some form of snootiness. It is not. Nor is it intended to be. And to dismiss me out of hand because I don't speak poorly is your loss. I am actually one helluva nice person. And I don't enjoy getting bent out of shape all the time. And I count among my dearest friends people from all walks of life, all forms of religious backgrounds, you name it. I was fortunate to be brought up an Army brat. And I lived overseas for many years as well within those mixed American-foreigner communities. I haven't got a racist bone in my body, you knucklehead, so kindly cease labeling me incorrectly, okay? You evidently have had some bad experiences, and for that I am sorry. But please do not take them out on me.
