What a stupid answer. You know nothing about healthcare in Canada or in the UK. Understand this: under universal healthcare in the UK, you can be denied immediate care. My cousin's little girl was denied immediate care under their healthcare act at the age of 3. She was placed on a waiting list for the procedure. She is now 7 years old and is still on the same waiting list. Her parents are considering bringing her to the US so she can have the procedure she requires. Furthermore, my aunt, in the UK, is being denied immediate care and has been told that there is no need for her to return--she will NOT receive the care she requires. She is considering coming to the US so she can get the help she needs and is more than willing to pay any price to be cured.

Before you go flapping your ignorant jaw about healthcare in Canada or the UK, you better get the fact and you better get them right. Is this what you want? Do you want to go to the doctor on a healthcare plan similar to the one in place in the UK only to be told there is no hope for you and, further, told not to return. Do you want a healthcare plan in place that tell parents their child is not able to receive immediate care and must go on a waiting list that could last for 4 years or more? I wouldn't be stupid enough to raise my hand for THAT. But then again, I have the facts and can make an informed decision.

But I DO know about UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE. And what are you suggesting - AMERICA'S WRETCHED PRIVATE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM WHICH ROMNEY WANTS TO KEEP ?! A PITIFUL SYSTEM where 46 MILLION AMERICANS HAVE NO MEDICAL INSURANCE BECAUSE THEY CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY THE MEDICAL PREMIUMS AND TENS OF MILLIONS MORE AMERICANS ARE UNDERINSURED, where they are only covered for certain illnesses ?! A PRIVATE MEDICAL SYSTEM WHERE AMERICANS PAY TWICE OR EVEN THREE TIMES AS MUCH FOR THE VERY SAME PRSCRIPTIONS / OVER THE COUNTER DRUGS THAT CANADIANS PAY OR ARE COVERED ?!

Here in CANADA we also have a problem with waiting lists. If the medical needs of the patient is critical, the PATIENT IS SENT TO AN AMERICAN HOSPITAL ALL COSTS COVERED BY OUR UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.
