What would you do if you hit a parked car?

I would hate to come outside and see that someone had hit me and left...

besides, with all the friggin cameras out there today, there is a good chance that me hitting a person could be caught on camera, then i get a ticket and court appearance for leaving the scene of an accident... NOT GONNA HAPPEN

To be honest, I'd be gone if there weren't any witness.

I HAVE LOL HAHAHAHA I WAS SKIPPING SCHOOL WE JUMPED INTO MY CAR AND I WAS BACKING UP SLAMMED INTO A TRUCK I MESSED UP HIS BUMPER BUT IT DIDNT DO ANYTHING TO MY CAR SOO I LEFT LOL WENT ON A CRAZY CAUSE CHOAS MISSON ALL WEEK AHHHH TO BE YOUNG AND DUMB I MISS IT!!!!!!!!!

it depends on who seen it how much ive had to drink and whether or not theyre close enough to see my licence plate

I'd back over it again to make sure it was dead, then I would drive off.

i would leave no matter what

I would first make an attempt to locate the owner, and if I couldn't find them, I would leave a note with my info. If it was a little one, like my door bumping their mirror and no damage done, I'd drive off. But it there was damage, I would take care of it

Little bump or big bump it is your responsibility as a motorist to do the right thing. Always think to yourself how you would feel if the situation was reversed.

I've actually done this, and I left a note on the car. Never heard from them.

The community college parking here is a NIGHTMARE.

If there was any kind of damage at all done to the car. I would leave a note with my name and number, and let the owner of the car decide if he/she wants me to pay. But before I leave I would take a picture of where I hit the car so the owner does not come back and say there was more damage done to the car then there realy was.

I have hit a parked car before. It totally wasn't my fault though LOL For real!
It happened on a really bad snowy day and I was trying to park my car. The parking lot was fraken HUGE so I decided I would park my car far away from all the other cars so I wouldn't slide into any. Well, my car slide anyway. It slid down the parking lot slowly. It was like total slow motion slow, I tried everthing I could to make it go in another direction to no avail. It went about 30' or 40' till it hit somebodys firebird. I felt so bad I started to cry. This was also my first week of work so I felt like a fraken idiot. Turns out the owner of the car was in my training class. She was nice about the whole thing and she opted to have my insurance to pay for the damages. I felt so bad but there was nothing I could do.

I have had people hit me and drive away.

Me too! and it wasn't a small bump either. My left rear tail light section was totally smashed to smitherines! Never found the person who did it either.

My dad was a preacher, so I have a lot of guilt. I would rather pay than live with guilt.

There wasn't anybody religious in my family that made me feel guilty but I would feel guilty. It just isn't cool.

If there was no evident damage then I would leave. Admit it people this is the most likely scenario.

I would also take a picture of the bump on my camera phone.

maybe not the offer to pay or admission of guilt part. But I'd let the person know I smacked their car. I don't like living with guilt.

you have to leave a note and pay for damage you caused. i always check the cars i park next for damage before i walk away just in case they try to scam money of of me

My dumb ass has hit a parked car! But it, technically, wasn't my fault! The driver got out on the wrong side of the car!
