We would print our way out of debt, there by devaluing the dollar resulting in a similar economic situation to Germany after the first world war. That image of the German lady with wheel barrow full of money has stuck with me, I think the caption said she was grocery shopping.

We would just borrow more money from the Fed (ie. 'print it'). The Fed could buy up mortgages and other debt from the market (ie 'bail out the rich bastards on Wall Street').

The Fed is can continue to print and create digital money until the people wake up.
