Of course, those ratios are greatly skewed toward the negative on this site, as many people here have hard-ons for bashing liberals, Obama, etc.

For as many of the described conservatives, I can say I know as many liberals who could fit the same descriptions. Stickler that I am, though, I would like to mention that it was remiss to neglect mentioning Hypocritical conservatives and the favorite Propagandized and Ignorant conservatives(again, this could and does apply to some liberals, as well).

Personally, I don't know why anyone would want to wear any other label than American.

I know all kinds of different 'conservatives'. Why only negative labels? Is this supposed to be a hate poll?

RELIGIOUS nutcases who think they "talk to God", UNDEREDUCATED sorts who know nothing of anything not first heard from a RWNJ propaganda outlet, IDEOLOGUES who ignore any fact or reality not consistent with their preconceived vision of reality, DELUSIONALS who subscribe to every conspiracy theory passed around by those who write such trash for a living, PARANOIDS who are captured by the stories of NRA and gun manufacturers to evoke fear as a marketing and advertising program for military style
weapons of mass murder, TEA BAGGERS intent on completing destruction of the Government that has defended and protected the Nation for two hundred years, TERRORISTS who boast of desires to make "revolution" against their neighbors if their
narrow minded dreams of 1776 are not adopted, IGNORANT sorts who can't think for themselves or about anything but themselves and their little worlds of selfishness, and lastly, THIEVES, PILLAGERS, PLUNDERERS, ROBBERS, FRAUDS, BROKERS, FUND MANAGERS, REAGAN BANKS, and other assorted criminals who have taken $27Trillion of wealth and assets from America's middle class citizens since "Reaganomics" was first introduced in 1981.

I know some of all of these. Some are family members, others just acquaintances, some I've come to know here on SH. I also know a few sincerely "conservative" sorts who have nothing in common with the presently radical and senseless political agenda of RWNJs.

Smart, articulate, creative, humanitarians. My conservative friends do more for peace, for the poor, for homeless, for hungry, for sick than my liberal friends who keep waiting around for some idyllic pie-in-the-sky-by-and-by social program to fix everything.

Do give us some illustrations of the "conservatives" who do the things you claim. Then, tell us how they view the radical agenda of the Republican Party of No that repudiates all the
things these people must do. I haven't any doubt of the truth of your statement, but really
haven't a clue how these persons might view the present leadership and political agenda of
the Republican Party, which claims to represent "conservatives".

Thank God for the Republicans in the Congress that had the courage to stand up and say no to the administration's horrible economic policies. The Republicans that said no have saved this nation from the path of Greece and Spain.

How about the path to hopeless and unavlidable DEPRESSION, the continued slide from the RECESSION of 2008 collapse? You get what you can pay for, providing you have a job not already moved to China or India. Next year, maybe not so fortunate.

I take it you don't want to tell us about your "conservative friends" who do the good things you described?

I know a dozen or so of these people. Then, there are the millions out there claiming to be "conservatives" but proposing the most radical and opposing agendas. Do you suppose there are actually two groups out there both claiming to be "conservatives"?

I think that with any group, and label you will find all levels... from the good to the bad. I choose to look at the positive, and believe that there are more good. This site does not properly represent either party.

Is that a flat denial to tell us about your friends and how their good deeds fit with the party pledged to end all such things? Come on now, fill us in on how this dichotomy can be fitted into the "conservative agenda".

No. You are free to choose to believe what you like. I am not in denial, and I am not a liar. Some of the people I love most in the world are conservatives, and some are liberals. A person, who they are, and they're worth is not solely based on their political leanings, and you think this is the case, I feel sorry for you.

The conservatives I know personally are rational, reasonable, civil folks, much like the liberals I know. Neither the libs, nor cons, that I know call each other names, as they are to intelligent, mature and respectful to use words like "libtard" or "republicant". If they did they'd be lambasted be their own supporters for their childishness behavior.

I personally know people of almost all political stripes, and we get along just fine for the most part.

The vast majority of the fanatics that I encounter (be they conservative, liberal, or otherwise) I find online. Its easier to be a fanatic behind the relative anonymity of a computer moniker.

Though, lets be honest here "bob", you are not exactly a level-headed and reasonable individual yourself.
