What is wrong with this picture?

I was surfing the internet, looking up solar ovens when I ran across this article with this picture.

My first reaction was WHY is this lady completely covered in dark cloth (at least the one on her head is white) when her husband is sitting there wearing just shorts?

If it's warm enough for him to be comfortable in nothing more than shorts, then she must be baking in that outfit. I assume it's pretty warm there, she must really be miserable. I wonder if she had HER choice in the matter, with no fear of repercussions, what would she wish to wear?

I wonder what would happen if she removed that horrible slave outfit and wore a nice blouse and shorts? Would she be yelled at? Would she be hit? Would she be beaten? Would she be killed?

I was going to insert an actual picture of a women being stoned, but it was even too graphic for me, you can look them up though.
