What is the capital of Israel?

What part of the world hasn't been "conquered"? Actually, it's more like reconquered!

The issue is one of principle. Just as the United States returned Okinawa to Japan, and forced Iraq out of Kuwait, as a general rule the international community has not condoned conquered territory. No land grabs. It condones independence movements, but that is a different issue.

The Jews driven out of their homeland circa 70 AD thereabouts by Roman Empire has returned home. Several Mid East nations launched war against Israel and lost territory to Israel as spoils of war. Jordan was occupying West Bank and signed peace treaty with Israel giving up their control of the territory to Israel. Why weren't liberals griping and moaning when Jordan controled the West Bank? Because liberals are racist hypocrites.

Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, though not internationally recognized as such. The international community has no say in a sovereign state's choice of capitals.

If you remember, Obama wants Israel to give up half of Jerusalem to the Arabs. Obama claiming Jerusalem is not the Capital shows that Obama is greatly out of touch with reality and does not even have a clue what the heck is going on.

Claiming that Tel Aviv is Israel's capital is like claiming that Pigtown (Toronto) is Canada's or Mumbai is India's -- patently false!

Back in the old Testament, much more land than what Israel has now belongs to Israel and the messiah will correct that when He returns. But Jerusalem is the Capital of Israel and i know that the Arabs hate that because the messiah will rule as Lord, and King yet to come

In reality the city of Tel Aviv is the internationally recognized capital. Even though the Isreali government has Government buildings in Jerusalem most of the important work is done in Tel Aviv where their primary international airport is located.

LEGALLY the city of Jerusalem is not the capital according to the UN formation of the country but a "federal district" within the United city of Jerusalem where the city of Jerusalem is to be under the control of the local citizery and he "federal district" being the land under the federal offices of the country of Israel. So in reality NO the entire city of Jerusalem is NOT the capital of Israel.

Legally New York City was our capital after Philadelphia. Sovreignty gives all nations the right to move their capital wherever their goverment wants it to be.
