    Really, he seems to think that raped women should assume the consequences and not have the choice of birth control?

    This gentleman obviously ignores the heavy sequels of rape, its traumas and how badly unwanted children are mostly treated or must bear with them all their life that they were the consequences of a crime.

    no such thing as legitimate rape....he is talking about women who say they have "been raped" but it was consentual, (with consent) or not forced........ Not everyone will agree perhaps....but im guessing that is what he is saying. You can call politicians and ask or leave a message for a response to clarify. (that was the guy in st. louis Missouri?)

    If a couple are separated but legally still married and the man decides to go to his wife's place for some 'one-two buckle my shoe' and the wife doesn't and he forces himself on her, I believe that the law in some countries will not count that as rape because they are married.

    The real face and mindset of the GOP/religious right. And yes this is a war on women. Akin said he's not going to bow out - he's not a quitter. That may be right, but he sure as hell is a loser.
