Somehow country and western music has always been associated with drinking, women and a lot of hoo ha stuff going on. Case in point, Randy Travis crashing his car and arrested by police while lying in the road naked. Sounds like a new C&W; song in the making. It seems to me that everyone with a sense of entitlement thinks they can do things like being Travis-nekkid and they are excused for their behavior. They are not held accountable for their actions and get to do whatever they want - and their fans are just as culpable because they accept the behavior.

It reminds me of professional athletes. If one thinks they just became spoiled snots when they got to the professional level, then I have a bridge to sell...

If I were someone like Randy Travis, Lindsay Lohan, or Barry Bonds (just to name a few), I'd be so ashamed of myself and would hide... forever.

This will probably be the first & last time I ever read something like the above question. So Randy had a mishap, a big mishap. He is still a good guy in my book. They have problems just like any other star & the only reason we know their business is because they are famous. Also the reason why people try to magnify it times 100!
