It is a successful corporation that employed Romney until 1999 when he left to run the Salt Lake Olympics. Bain is not the villian the left wing scum pretend. You want scum? Look at the left wing and the Usurper/Liar/Anti-God travesty defiling the White House.

Mitt Romny can run this country allot better than Obama can. Just look at his record in the private sector.

Having worked in corporate American and watched the mergers and acquisitions process up close, I really dont want to know! The better questions are what roles did Mitt Romney have at Bain Capital and why is qualified to be considered a management leader.

Q: Why is Romney qualified to be considered a management leader?
    A: Two easy answers:
    1. He created over 100,000 net U.S. jobs, and
    2. Saving the U.S. Olympics, bringing ethics and financial sanity to what had become a national scandal, thus securing himself both as a transparent national manager, and an American hero.

Prove it - the job creation stats and dont just refer me to campaign material. Many have said he has overblown the Olympics success story but I will give him credit for fixing the financial aspects of that endeaveor. But then I never met an Executive type like Romney that people just love or hate, mostly because of their unique management style, not whether or not they are a good person or family man. American hero? That is going a bit far for me.

Could ask the same thing about President Obama he's like dropped the ball, fell over it, rolled into the ally and pointed to the other guy and said it's his fault! Can't wait for the debates. Also Romney was a Governor who ran a state successfully and Obamacare stole some of his idea's soooo

I am so curious why you didn't put a sensible selection here. Bain Capitol is an investment and financial services company, founded by Mitt Romney and others to buy or invest in questionable companies (and some others) and try to make them more profitable. A few of their companies didn't do well but the large majority became bigger and better.

Aha! Thanks for the information . . . I knew it was something like that; but what I wasn't fullly-aware of was just how aggressive they were in going for profits . . . I felt that they were just Consultants, and it kind of stopped there, so to speak.

An American success story that started Staples and dozens of other companies, ***ADDING OVER 100,000 AMERICAN JOBS*** in the process. The sleazy Democrats knowingly, deliberately and misleading talk about the extra 5,000 or so overseas jobs Bain also created as if it's bad. Hmmm. 100,000 US jobs here on American soil plus some 5,000 overseas jobs: the Dems could learn something from this smart, honest Romney.

Sounds like a successfull company that employe people and makes money. We need more successfull companies that employ people and make money, that makes for a good economy, everyone is working and making money. The Obama administration is against that and the libs think he is great?

some companies just need to be shut down, it is a tough and hard decision to make and only the strong make those decisions ,
the weak would argue to keep a sinking ship afloat , to throw good money into a bankrupt company, well that is not good for any one ..

ask obomma how that there solydine solar company he lost over 1/2 BILLION of my / your / our tax money..

some times liberals should just leave business to the business men / women .. and just go about and organize the community ,,,,,

I have worked with Venture Capitalist companies. They're not evil people, in fact if you're attempting to start up a business with a great business plan, they can make it happen. I started 2 companies, and if it were not for VCs I wouldh't have had the money to get off the ground. They need you to be successful, so they can be successful.

AND what happins if your existing company or your start up company is destined for failure ?

they shut down and liquidate the existing company or deny the start up .. that is how business works , and I think this is confusing to obomma ,,

obomma thinks companies build it them selves..

Venture capital company. This is a company that other companies are looking for for additional capital. Either start-up capital or capital to try to save a business that is in trouble. No one goes to venture capital companies unless they are already in deep deep trouble
