What if scientists found a "gay gene"...

Gracie - Proud Conservative 2012/06/11 00:27:49
and the mother could tell that her unborn baby would in fact be gay, would aborting that baby be moral? It seems that anyone that is pro-choice is indifferent to the reasons for abortion and defend it under any circumstances. I find eugenics inherently evil and amoral.

This isn't about gay bashing, this is a moral question.

Selective abortion already exists for birth defects. Only a liberal would slide 'homosexuality' into THAT category.

A human that is anti Christ anti life would put gays if they thought they were gays genetically into the category of abortion, aborting them. All life is precious to God. All of the humans saved will get a new body anyway. The devil in a human kills calling it good.

The best thing I can say about the Catholics is that they are against abortion, and acknowledging that there is a trinity, but their negitive stance against other sexualities when they have their own kind of sex makes them divided against themselves.

...Catholics?...ha.ha.ha. Mother is calling all of her whoring daughters home again. It will end up in that one world religion that helps usher in the one world government. I believe in God and I believe in Jesus; but I am not a Christian.

That means you are a Christian not whoring after war like Israel did time, and time again whoring after Baal, and Baalim which soon after became violent like anyone that had a military army. Jesus is God without his glory in a body like we have. After his resurrection his new body has no blood in it.

LOL! Human sexuality is more complex than that. There is no single switch that, when flipped, makes you sexually and emotionally desire your own gender for the rest of your life. Human sexuality is about as simple as Inception in Russian, backward, and in fast mode.

Dehumanization is the beginning of war. Why don't humans learn from the past. Why don't humans learn from the example of Jesus not dehumanizing anyone? The gay has not even done anything bad to you, and yet you say what you say?

Well, you will not have to worry..there is no gay gene so there is nothing to be found :) But, if one had moral beliefs against abortion, then being gay hardly rationalizes going against that moral code.

We don't know if there is a gay gene and we don't really know much about why someone is homosexual at all. I'm pro-life without much exception so I wouldn't find it moral by any stretch of the imagination. I just wonder how gay pro-choice people would feel about it.

What if? Here's "What if." If scientists found a "gay gene" then all you Cons would be trying to pass bills left and right for the government to pay for free gay abortions. You'd even have 2-for-1 coupons and set up beer and hot dog stands at Planned Parenthood.

Nope, I oppose abortion. Personally, this might turn some pro-abortion people into pro-life advocates quickly. I could see how you could say that when you have beliefs not based on anything substative.

No, I don't think the cons would do that type of thing. Rather they would pass a law for post-birth-social-abortions where on the gay childs first day of life they are taken and placed behind an electrified fence forever.

Haven't been reading the xtian news lately I see,... Many of the conservative right-to-life anti-abortion crowd are also very strong supporters of capital punishment. Since many of those same conservatives consider gay people more of a threat to America than Islam terrorist why wouldn't they do what several NC churches are suggesting?

The onlyl question would be at what age could these same people do away with (exterminate) those born with that detected defective gay gene so they wouldn't be a threat to America.

Awww, one or two idiots run their mouths and now it's all Christians wanting to lock up gays. I'm pro-capital punishment. I don't know anyone who finds homosexuality more of a threat than radical Islam. The irony is that gay people are pro-Muslim and they'd kill them in a heartbeat. Remember there are no gay men in Iran?

You want to talk about what Conservatives would do but I haven't heard what you believe and that's the question. Evading it is what liberals do.

What I believe is all chidren are valuable and abortion is not something I would consider for myself nor my family. Still I understand that abortion is a reality and for those wanting one it is not unreasonable for them to have access to a trained medical professional instead of a back alley butcher with a coat hanger.

As for the "one or two idiots", they have the full support of their own congregations and many others are expressing their support.

Still, I suppose it was my mistake thinking you were asking a real question but with your "gay people are pro-Muslim" statement, it has become clear you are really just another troll.

Now, back to the question at hand. The recent controversy about aborting because your baby may not be the sex you desire. Abortion because your baby would be Gay is the next logical step. ALL of it deplorable!
