Any trust I had in the government. %20 of my hours at my job. The cost of my health insurance has tripled. The price of gas is $2 more than it was before Odumba. Subsequently, the price of consumer goods have shot up. My constitutional rights seem to be a little on the lighter side.

    My patriotism has deteriorated!

I can't be patriotic when I know our country is being "led" by someone who wants to destroy us. Things will NOT get better for anyone with him in charge.

    Mitt Romney wears Magic Underwear.

He thinks it protects him from evil. And that brings up the question:

Do we really want a President who wears magic underwear?

Do we want the country to go in that direction?

thinks protects evil brings president wears magic underwear country direction

Money, lots and lots of money. Military benefits. Pride for my nation. I've lost all respect for the liberals - trolling on here and using profanity all the time, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Well we're making more money but paying a little less in taxes. Does that count as "loosing" something?

I have lost whatever respect I have had for Republicans. Watching them froth at the mouth of President Obama has been sad.

Even during my most fervent anti-Bush days I still winced when I saw some from the fringe of groups whom I shared certain philosophic leanings (i.e. people on the left) compare President Bush to Hitler. I thought it was wrong then, and I first heard the rule "invoke Hitler = loose argument" invoked BY people on the left to limit those comparisons. That, however, was at least in regards to war. Seeing MAINSTREAM Republicans (such as Governors and U.S. Representatives) compare President Obama to Hitler over HEALTHCARE of all things (often over programs suggested or instituted BY Republicans) is just beyond all possible reason.

At this time I don't know if I could vote for a Republican for dog catcher unless he or she distanced himself from what counts as the right-wing today.

i know...the thing is, as you probably can tell from being here, that we are pretty set in our ways politically if politics is important to us and almost no amount of "discussion" will change minds... I try to not even "go there" with family/friends/co-workers. It is hard, especially when you have to listen to other's opinions but then are trying to hold back your opinion should you not agree..i suppose soda head gives us all a safe place to let off political steam..

I have found someone in my life who agrees with my outlook when it comes to politics and it really helps to call her when I am feeling really annoyed by other's opinions...we get to talk and agree and it feels better..we all need an outlet...we can pick an outlet that supports us rather than makes us crazy!

My business of 7 years to start. But more importantly, my faith and confidence in my fellow American's. It seems American's on both sides of the aisle have lost faith in themselves, why else do you continue to turn over more and more of your freedom and liberty to the federal government? And I'm not talking about just under Obama, you've been doing this for decades, under both Parties!

If you had faith in yourselves, you wouldn't rely on the Dept. of Education to make decisions for you, you'd rely on the faith and wisdom of the parent and adopt a voucher system that creates competition, lowers costs and increases the quality of education.

If you had faith in American industry, you wouldn't support the bipartisan stimulus bill that was predicated almost entirely on preserving swollen government spending at the expense of private-sector growth.

Is faith in American know-how why Washington funnels billions of tax dollars each year to its hand-picked industry favorites (corporatism) rather than allow the best and brightest to competitively figure out what the most sensible energy policy is, as we have in every other sector?

This lack of faith in yourself has led to the 20-year explosion of paternalistic regulations that control everything from the size of candy to tannin...

A faith that the American citizen has the self-control of a deprived toddler. This is what YOU have handed over to the federal government, faith in yourself is now faith in your government!

I have gained so much with obarry. The extension of the patriot act, the fear of speaking my mind and being considered a terrorist and sent to prison without trial, the threat of martial law and having my personal belonging seized, economic collaspe from his wild spending, dangerous Mexicans armed with guns from the US and wide (wider) open borders, my right to peacefully assemble or protest, my financial security, distrust of government and police who have received military training to form the civilian military force barry said he wanted, agenda 21 begins, congress has now been left powerless in many situations and the UN and nato now have huge influence in US policy.

I have lost a lot of my fixed income buying power due to his outrageous inflation. It is worse than it was under Jimmy Carter. If he is not stopped, I won't even be able to live in the poor house.

I lost a large amount of civil rights and freedoms under Bush. Other than that, nothing. I made lots of money from the market because of the instability Obama inherited and promulgated by the constant "do nothing" approach by the Repubs. :ife is good!
