the biggest thing he has done wrong is not act presidential enough. Some past presidents were very forcefull or at least they knew how to play congress to a tee so they could get what they wanted ,Obama has had to sit back and watch alot of what he wants done be blocked by congress

A President has an obligation that goes way beyond campaign promises as situations change in the world. I doubt that anyone expected his administration to add $5.1 trillion to the national debt, for the economy to get worse, and for a deteriorating relations with much of the world.

I think he's kept a lot of his promises like the health care plan, and he has slowly been turning the economy around, he saved the auto industry which Romany wanted to just let them go into bankruptcy. And considering that the GOP has stopped him on every front including his Jobs Bill, I think he's done as well if not better than most people could do under the circumstances.
I'll be voting for him again in November without hesitation. I believe he has the good of the country and our people at heart and he'll do the best that anyone could do at this point.

First of all: Your choices could be better.

I am very disappointed in Obama's human rights policies, including the NDAA, clamping down on MJ dispensaries, and giving torturers a free pass. Other than that, he's not too bad.

(This reminds me of a reporter interviewing Lincoln's widow at Ford's Theater: "Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the theater?")

Has OBAMA done a good good job and kept his promises?
    Nate Hubert
I don't like the fact that he didn't accomplish very many of his campaign promises, but given the pressing issue of our lagging economy I'd say he's made do.

Right now, I think a liberal President is a good thing. The way I see it, conservatives don't handle the bad economic times very well, and liberals don't handle successful times very well; because conservatives don't take the measures necessary to get us out of the bad quickly, and liberals blow through all the surplus money we gain during the good. At least, that seems to be how it works these days. So, I think we could use a liberal willing to invest in our economy to get it back on track.

Go ahead and TRY to tell me that he's handling the escalating crisis involving Syria, Russia, and Iran with aplomb. I double-dog dare you!

    2)Just SOME of Obama's Achievements:
$800 Billion in stimulus-all for the Middle Class -Independent estimates: 1.8 to 3 million jobs created/saved. --> Unemployment rate Feb 2009: 8.1%; May 2012: 8.2% (Bureau of Labor & Statistics)
Health insurance for 30 million plus of our fellow citizens, subsidies for those who cannot afford. --> Obamacare before Supreme Court - facing repeal
GM/Chrysler bailout-saving an estimated 3 million related jobs.--> Well just this week, Chrysler announced that 25% of their dealerships (~800 dealers) are being shut-down---and they're sticking those dealers with all their inventory and special tools. (GM website)
Unprecedented number of unemployment benefit extensions. --> Continued 8.2% unemployment
Establishment of CFPA (that Republicans and banks oppose) --> Financial reform mess; Positive impact?
Expansion of SCHIP --> Is a State program, not Federal
Got banks out of student loan business. --> Fallacie. Your'e referring only to Fed student loans. Banks' student loans up 582% since 2008.
Biggest budget for Green energy ever. --> Green energy going nowhere. Fed spending on Green Energy companies a failure (e..g. Solyndra). Side note: 3 years -> No Fed Budget - lack of leadership.
Ledbetter Law (Equal pay for women)
Repeal of DADT, stance against DOMA. --> ...

Repeal of DADT, stance against DOMA. --> A "positive" accomplishment?...while pushing for massive cuts in Defense spending (in time of war).
Osama bin Laden DEAD --> Seal Team 6 killed Bin Laden, not Obama...and they were able to do so based on intelligence and military groundwork laid by President Bush. Read "The Hunt for Osama Bin Laden" by Robin Moore.

As for obstructionist Congress, if you're going to blame Republicans (majority in the House), you must also blame Democrats (majority in the Senate).

    And Foreign Policy accomplishments????

    A Presidency of failed promises.

Read other posts here which list his many failures.

He's done a very good job. No other president has had to deal with all the hate that is spewed on him every day. And what other president has had a member of Congress say to everyone their only goal was to see him serve only one term. The Party of No has to go.
