This is a very bad crime and should be inforced....
This is the most rediculous thing ever...
Makes you wonder what will be against the law next....

People are being arrested for cheering at Graduations and Diplomas are
being held until Community Service is done as punishment for this "Crime"!
Is it any wonder we have so many depressed people in the World today?
What happened to the right to be yourself and to be able to show others
you are proud of them?

What do you think about this rule that is being enforced as a crime?

    Now with that said ..
    FOLKS ..
be respectful of all the Graduates ..
and just wait .. hold the applause until everyone has their Diploma and time in the spotlight ..
    everyone can cheer then ..
for ALL who have graduated ..

Why can't the students rent an property so they can able to cheering anyway they can...so they can't do nothing about it because of your graduation rental property..nothing wrong with cheering and be happy for all of them...there is think outside the box...it not hard..it's your rights..

I did not care for your choices but I do have feelings on this. Quite frankly parents and relatives who put on a display during a graduation should be punished in some way. They distract from the ceremony. These folks were asked not to cheer and yep somebody did exactly what they wanted to do. What a great example for their child who is going out into the world. It's a shame people can't just follow the rules. Cheer all you want when your child gets home, or at his/her graduation party but not during the ceremony. They were wrong.....let them do the community service. Maybe they'll keep their mouths shut when their next child receives their diploma. It's just class and respect.

This shouldn't be a distraction because this Ceremony is
all about the Graduates. They each deserve their own
    cheering.

they made it perfectly clear that cheering after every kid would delay the ceremony and they would be removing people if they violate the rule stated. The lady didn't just cheer, she knowingly went against the request of the people in charge. Does that teach her child to respect the rules of authority? No, it doesn't. the Anderson Cooper clip doesn't have video taped evidence from either case so I can't say if she was excessive, but I CAN say that if everyone else obeyed the rule, except her, it's a distraction and the graduating classmate unlucky to be after that girl was probably not even heard if the commotion created a distraction.
