What has Barack Obama done?

hes been a disappointment thus far regarding the economy. however hes done some good. he caught osama bin laden. he handled hurricane sandy very well. he passed the health care bill. some of it i dont like but i do believe all legal citizens should have health care. sure he hasnt been perfect, but there was some good is his first term. ill take him over romney in a heartbeat. if his second term is better, he'll be the liberal equivelant to ronald regan.

Good: Increased private sector gun sales:

Bad: to start NDAA, there's much more bad I could typ, but I'm a little tired and I don't think there's enough space in this SH block to fit it.

He wound up being Bush's third term, other than passing Romneycare pretty much.

I've said it before and probably will again. Two things come to mind when I hear the name Barack Obama; Somali pirates and Bin Laden.
Wish he were more successful on the economy, foreign policy, etc.
Can anyone think of a president, besides George Washington (even his was difficult though) who has had a successful second term?

Every President does some good and bad. I don't agree with all he has done so far - and I didn't agree with everything the last 5 presidents did either. If anyone is expecting either one of the candidates to be our savior - ain't happening. What you have to weigh - is which one you feel will do the least amount of damage and get our economy back on track.

He has to stop fighting the GOP and let them have there way and then we can all start breathing again.

Destroying our economy, morality and everything else he can think of that weakens us globally.

Because my mother-in-law kept saying that he hasn't done a thing since getting elected I decided to searched around and found a list of 200 accomplishments he's achieved since getting into office. The first one states, within his first week, he signed an Executive Order ordering an audit of government contracts, and combating waste and abuse. http://1.usa.gov/dUvbu5, on his first day in office he signed a bill to freeze wages of White House workers. I'm not going to list them all since I copied it to Office and it came out to 16 pages. So anybody out there that wants to believe he hasn't done anything should do a little research. It might not be what you wanted, but it sure wasn't nothing.

Perhaps you need to expand your research into the motivation behind his so-called accomplishments and what else was going on at the time.

Ever hear the term 'icing sprinkles on the turd'? Guess what else happened his first week in office that was rushed through without a lot of media attention into the raw details?

The $787 Billion un-read, basically un-challenged, stimulus that was introduced on Jan. 23rd, freight-trained through Congress (straight party-line vote) and signed into law on the 28th.

Those icing sprinkles you referred to --- government contracts and wage freezes were nothing more than a smoke screen so the press had something else to talk about and ignore the pork package and the fact that he also signed an E.O. to effectively put his past and records off limits.

He also rejected all GOP members suggestions on their first meeting within three days and whipped out his infamous "I won", line.
THAT, arrogant, asinine, attitude is what set the tone for the 111th Congress and later prompted GOP leaders to state their main goal was to ensure, Barry Soetoro was one and done.

All I did was answer the question of what has he done. I didn't go into the reasons behind his motivations, because that was not the question. Every time I answer a question regarding MY Opinion and it has anything to do with Obama, I get people jumping all over me. I'm not an Obama supporter, or a Romney supporter, I just answer the question to the best of my knowledge. So leave me alone.

That order only goes into affect if our land is being invaded by a foreign country. The government cannot and will not take anything of yours unless that scenario arises. It's a safeguard, not a law so they can snatch up our goodies. Don't believe everything you here, people are trying to scare you. You can't trust half the websites or news channels such FOX or MSNBC. I get E-Mails all the time making wild claims about either what Romney or Obama are going to do to this country, and when I go to Snopes.com or other sources to verify the threat, I find it to be either taken out of context, or just swayed to support whichever person they want in office. Before this crazy election started heating up, I wasn't even interested in politics because most of the promises made are never kept, and all the worries people would instill in my head never came to fruition. But this election has gone way over the top as far as crazy goes. I'm going to vote for who I think is the least hurtful to OUR people, and I'm not being scared into voting either way. The US is a being laughed at because were supposed to be such a great country, filled with camaraderie, except were becoming as divided as North and South Korea, I'm embarrassed.
