We all know that the epitome of liberalism is control . We seemed to have forgotten the old saying "mind your own business". Shouldn't we just start telling dumbos intrusion into every aspect of our lives to just, "mind your own business???

The most liberal time in history was the 1960s. Conservatives still used police brutality to keep everybody down, but liberals fought for civil rights, women's liberation, peace, love and freedom and equality for everybody. Cool out, smoke a little grass, do a little dance, make a little love. Right on! That was also the best time in history to buy anything, because your dollar went further than ever before or ever again.
Then the control freaks came and one of the first things we got was a Controlled Substances Act. They brought us Watergate spying, sent our economy downhill and we even almost had to ration gasoline.
Things mellowed out a little under Carter, but they blamed him for the bad economy he inherited the same way they blame Obama for it now.
Then holy crap Reagan came with his iron fist and that was the beginning of the end of freedom for anybody. They've been clamping down ever since, spitting out legislation to control people faster than we can absorb it.
liberal
4. favorable to or in accord with concepts of maximum individual freedom possible, especially as guaranteed by law and secured by governmental protection of civil liberties.
LIBERal = LIBERty = LIBERate = LIBERia
Means freedom, that's a good thing.
conservative
1. disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, and to limit change.
CONservative = CONtrol = CONstant = CONflict
Means they want to control everything and everybody, that's a bad thing.
Liberals want to make progress and conservatives only want to make rules.
Just read the dictionary and you'll get it.
Today, just about everything is a federal case!
