John Smith started the day early having set his alarmclock

(MADE IN JAPAN )

for 6 am ..

While his coffeepot

(MADE IN CHINA)

was perking, he shaved with his

electric razor

(MADE IN HONG KONG)

He put on a

dress shirt

(MADE IN SRI LANKA),

designer jeans

(MADE IN SINGAPORE)

and

tennis shoes

(MADE IN KOREA)

After cooking his breakfast in his new

electric skillet

(MADE IN INDIA)

he sat down with his

calculator

(MADE IN MEXICO)

to see how much he could spend today. After setting his

watch

(MADE IN TAIWAN )

to the radio

(MADE IN INDIA )

he got in his car

(MADE IN GERMANY )

filled it with GAS

(from Saudi Arabia )

and continued his search

for a good paying AMERICAN JOB.

At the end of yet another discouraging

and fruitless day

checking his

Computer

( made in MALAYSIA ),

John decided to relax for a while.

He put on his sandals

(MADE IN BRAZIL ),

poured himself a glass of

wine

(MADE IN FRANCE )

and turned on his

TV

(MADE IN INDONESIA ),

and then wondered why he can't

find a good paying job

in AMERICA

AND NOW HE'S HOPING HE CAN GET HELP FROM A PRESIDENT

MADE IN KENYA

Buy American... don't rely on the government to do it for you.

Obama was not born in Kenya, get used to it.

What happened to "Made in America?"
    A: Taxes and (excessive) regulations.

Contact your Representative and Senators and urge them to co-sponsor (and push for passage) H.R. 25 and S. 13.

Discard half the regulations the business community must shoulder and lower taxes while defunding the EPA and you will see "Made in America" make a strong comback in this country!

American products are made in foreign nations now, because they charge less fr their labor. Americans arn't willing to work for $12 dollars an hour anymore, our Unions demand what they call fair wages so business has mved to other nations that don't have Unions that demand higher wages for people who want the work.
We here in America must have it good, because we arn't willing to take less to keep those jobs here at home, and i can understand both sides of the arguement, but bottom line is the ones who get the jobs are the ones who will take less than $20 dollars an hour to make them, and yupp, business is greedy, but business calls it capitalism, so what are you gonna do, but kiss those jobs goodby.
As it gets easier and easier to do business in third world nations, Americans will have to think real hard if they want to work in America, or let America go to another nation to produce American products.
The "Made in America" era ended in the 1970's when big business was approached by foreign nations that said they could produce the same products for half the money, and it's been getting worse ever since.
Hell, right now 89% of technical support for computers is from india and other nations that charge less than the original American tech. support people.

While we Americans stand our ground and say "I won't work for less" jobs go overseas.
And the reality of it all is we here in America have relied so long on makeing the money we do, we now can't afford to make less, because everything is costing more, because we wanted more pay, and round and round it went until foreign nations stoped us cold, and now we suffer from what we caused to happen, which was driving the prices up by wanting more pay to buy our toys with. Alot of those toys are now at the pawn shops across America, and are real good deals too, Lol.
Funny how greed works against you when you hide it under the name of capitalism !

I have a German car because I don't like the strong arming of the American co's. My clothes are so old they actually say Made In America. I avoid buying sh** and when the chips are down and I have to buy something, after checking for it in America, I make sure it is made anywhere but China. My brother-in-law, who is a trucker says that they are now ripping off the made in China tags and replacing them with bogus made in America tags. Isn't that what was done during the war when America sent food overseas? Our tags were replaced with whichever country was hijacking America's supplies to the needy.

Unfortunately...it's our own faults! I remember my dad telling me to "Buy American", "Shut the lights off when you leave a room", "Eat your food there are children dying in China"....Without reasoning behind what was said or the reinforcement from the next generations....we lost the real meaning & the IMPORTANCE...now we know the DANGER to our Freedoms in our Country!

I was even schooled that no paper or any type of trash should be found in the school or on the grounds. If you couldn't find a trash can put it in your pocket until you could. I have attended night school classes in our high schools and the trash on the floors in the halls are ankle deep yet the are constantly screaming about saving the environment.
