and on a more humorous note. the forth person down on the list of people who raved you. has me blocked. he did not respond here even though he could have. but by just looking at his name you have to ask why he even comes here.

It would be interesting if SH would release statistics of what percentages of its liberal and conservative members have blocked, and how often.

My own feeling is that libs block with considerably higher frequency.

I don't know who would win the block battle, but what I can just about guarantee is that "News & Politics" would be the most likely topic (If not only) where people block others the most.

i tried to get sodahead to add a blocked list to a persons bio right under their friends list. they refused.

LOL, you could do that yourself on your SH homepage, "I have been blocked by..." and include the blockers' avatars.

That probably would be a TOS violation, though.

That is a great idea. I don't think they would have a problem with it. I have literally posted pictures of the website along with the message that you get, saying they don't want any correspondence, and I haven't heard anything.

In the two years I've been here I've blocked 1 person (who I've unblocked since) and the reason was that he went from 0 to creepy within one comment. I've just come to the conclusion that If I don't like how a person conducts them selves here, I can simply avoid them, and if they get too out of hand let the powers that be handle it.

I've disagreed with plenty of conservatives. I've disagreed with The Rock. He hasn't blocked me. I've disagreed with Tncdel; he hasn't blocked me. Probably just because I only tend to reply when I disagree with a point of view, I have disagreed with every single one of my friends at some point or another. I've disagreed with Jean, she hasn't blocked me. I've disagreed with Ugh. she hasn't blocked me. I've disagreed with Feed the Sheeple. He hasn't blocked me. I could go on forever.

--I'm a contrary person, what more can I say? But I get blocked more by Progressives. But the important thing is that I have sat there and watched Progressives deny blocking people. That's why I started copying the message that states I was blocked by these people.
