it can vary. i have been blocked by people i have never even spoken to. if your talking about this particular time. on a post about obama i posted a picture of a bumper sticker that said so far he sucks.

I don't think liberals care about the poll results here.
Poll results mean nothing and don't prove anything.
I had an exchange yesterday with someone who purposely went after me to get me either de-activated or blocked. Some conservatives have sneaky ways of limiting the amount of liberals on this site, so THEY can make it seem like they have a majority voice ... It seems to me conservatives pay more attention to the polls here.
Some people deserved to be blocked because they have nothing but vile comments and disrespect to bring to the table and it has nothing to do with poll results!

edit add --- This is a 'generalized statement' does not apply to all conservatives and I can only go by my personal experiences here

If people are blocking others to make polls look a certain way then the polls are inaccurate aren't they? 'newcasters' using skewed and inaccurate information really doesn't mean too much to most of us and really aren't FACTS are they??

on this we will have to disagree. i think liberals care just as much as anybody about the results. the liberal who was my muse for this post is proof of that.there is only three reasons i can think of for this person to mass block.

a, like you said to silence the opposing view to appear to have a majority voice

b. he got tired of re posting the same question over and over and never getting the results he was looking for.

c, was tired of getting kicked around because most responders disagreed with him.

none of these i feel is a valid reason for his actions.

You mean Acorn? Democratic Socialist Party? SEIU? that .00004%. Better check your figures, when 119% of registered Democrat voters voted in Wisconsin I think you decimel point is a little to far to the left (not surprising). However, if liberals are for fair and open voting, why not require an I.D. to vote, or clear the rolls of non-eligible voters? Doesn't that seem fair?

Absolutely. I think after awhile on here you grow a thick skin and most of the time personal insults just roll off your back. The first time I was called a "moron" I was totally crushed. No one in my entire life had ever called me that before. But I went on to be called much worse and now I just make it a point to skip responding to such posts and walk away. SOMETIMES I even succeed. lol

Anyone who blocks - especially those who do so to skew poll results - is part of the problem with politics today. If you can't stand by your comments regardless of what other people post then you should not be posting on a public message board. If you block it indicates you think you might be wrong.
