What do you think of Former Senator John Edwards?

I would go into why, but it's been all over the news. You would have to be blind to have missed it.

Like most liberal Democrats, Edwards doesn't have any sense of morality.

As the AC/DC tune TNT says, with him around you might consider locking up your daughter, locking up your wife, locking your back door, and running for your life. (I surely wouldn't want to know he develops crushes on men, but you never know. He looks like he might.)

Another slick, good looking, good talker democrat who's not what he puts out as his political image. Too many fakes in the democratic party for me! And there's plenty on the other side of the aisle too, but I really don't think they are as practiced at trying to fool the voters.

For all the dirty dealings, the immoral behavior and the lying through his pearly whites I do, in a way, feel sorry for the guy. Although I did not agree with his politics he seemed to have so much going for him and he threw it all away for some woman.

What I cannot forgive is what he did to his wife. She seemed like a lovely person.

Can you imagine doing that to someone? I mean an affair would be hard enough but to find out your husband was sleeping with another woman as you were fighting terminal cancer would be a pretty tough one Treasure.

He was a good senator, and he deserves respect. He made 1 mistake. That doesn't in any way, shape, or form, affect his views politically. We forgave Bill Clinton. We forgave Herman Cain. We can forgive John Edwards.

I simply can't find any amount of respect for a man who continues to sleep with another woman as his wife is dyiing of cancer. He truly had no heart and that is a shame.

Also, he was a good and prominent politician. He made a mistake. Using that logic, half the world has no heart and is a shame.

I have no respect for a man that cheats on his dying wife. Using campaign funds to cover it up is a no no, now he can pay for it with (shell we say) 5 years in prison.

He's a politician, and now days, that's a dirty word.
They have forgotten that they are public servants and have placed themselves in a higher position of authority rather than servanthood.
I can't even put it on the DiMocrats, its all of them. They have sold their souls for money and power and prestige.
He's a scum husband for doing that to his wife, but sadly, he was probably doing it before she got breast cancer and didn't have the decency to stop while she was sick.
If he used campaign money to do pay offs, then he should have to do time, but 30 years? I've seen murderers get off in less than 10.

Politically shallow lib/prog, snake oil salesman, similar in character to Obama, similar to Hillary C, and others in their party. When Edwards campaigned, it was all about "good intentions", "social fairness", as is typically the case with the DNC...gee, it was sort of like "hope and change".

John had it all. He had a lovely family and a nice wad of cash in the bank. When he walked into the neighborhood bar, people wanted to shake his hand.

Then came Reille. Any common sense that had served John well in the past quickly went out the window.

John is defiitely quilty of being a scumbag. Whether or not he is guity of the charges brought against him is another story.

Although there are many players in this sordid drama, the old adage is still true... you are responsible for your own actions. No one else... just you.
