Our former President has in fact been very quiet about the current politics. Only his brother Jeb, who probably has ambitions of his own, has commented talked about the current GOP but not the administration.

It's a fact. Old school Republicans and Obama could actually be close friends. All former presidents are friends. It is an exclusive club.

As far as having friends on the other side of the aisle, you can really enjoy somebody's company even if your philosophies are different. That is unlike the Tea Party are now.

I think he feels, that the President is doing an extremely good job considering, the TOTAL OBSTRUCTION BY REPUBLICANS, which is something he, Bush, never had to face or the TOTAL DISRESPECT of him while Abroad on Country Business, and the TOTAL DISRESPECT OF THE Office of the Presidency.

I bet you Bush actually likes and respects Obama and I also believe the opposite is true also because only a person who is or has been a president knows all the pressures of the office and of the opposing party. They may not agree on policy issues most of the time but they can respect each other for doing the hardest and most important job in the world.

sympathy. The whole bush family has been quiet, except Jeb who has actually kind of stood up for Obama by warning the republicans that overdoing their criticisms of Obama will bite them in the arse. I read that Bush Senior was close with Obama: that they talk and that Obama sees him as a father figure.

Your snarky reply sure came out of left field. I never said GWB was a good representation of a President. My statement applies to all former Presidents. There have been one or two that were uncouth enough not to follow that tradition, but GWB is not one of them.

And my intelligence in my own mind at least knows how to spell "Wal-Mart" and "management". (your spellings WallMart/managment - just in case you decide to edit your response) LOL.
