What do you feel about teacher who was fired for having a Trayvon Martin fundraiser?

Teacher was fired in Michigan for raising money to send to Trayvon Martins family.This same teacher had gotten the approval of her principle. She was told her job was to teach and not to be active in any cause. This teacher was teacher of the year twice

Depends on whether she violated any part of her contract with the school system, if she had a contract. If she violated any portion of any written school rules and regs, particularly if she was conducting fund raising during normal school hours and there are rules against that. If she violated no rules, then she should be reinstated, with an apology. If she did violate the rules, I'm assuming the administration should and would discipline her, but firing? Depending on her track record to this point in her career should have some bearing on what ultimately happens.

She was teacher of the year twice submitted the proper paperwork and it was ok'd by the principal Thank you for response.

There is critera for murder and that has to meet certain guidelines. Murder in the first degree has to be planned and premeditated. Manslaughter can be an accident or done in the heat of passion. If you rob a store and you shoot someone that can be second degree murder. You didn't plan on shooting the person but you were willing to do it if they opposed you.
We have to see what proofs she used to determine her charge.

Pressures doesn't count you have to have probable cause because it has to stand up to burdens of proof. As a former law enforcement officer I realize these facts and points.

Well acutually how many people attack an armed man but he was told not to follow the teen.? If you have done nothing and someone followed you how do you react? that happened to me and I was ready to defend myself thinking they meant me no good.

There is justfiable homicide but there are degrees of murder like I stated before. I went to court on a man who killed another man and I got the weapon and when the trial was finished it was called justifable homicide. It was a white man who killed a Black man.

Wll thank you for the comment. Well sometimes even if you are not the bread winner burying someone is still expensive. I know I buried both of my parents thank God that my dad had insurance.
