There's a chapter about both Barack & Michelle have totally snubbed Oprah in a book that was recently released, "The Amateur." It all has to do with how Valerie Jarret schemes and manipulates to control access to the Obama's. She viewed Oprah as a threat to her power and so deliberately set about turning Michelle against Oprah.
Many, many things, among them his fortitude. determination and stick-to-it persona. If he read all the disgusting lies said about him (and I am sure he has heard lots), he would say: " You don't want me? Here, take this job and shove it up your racist asses, you bunch of bigoted, brain dead, Limbaugh, Trump, Koch brothers lover lemmings." But he's hanging in there, determined to finish the job he started, despite it all.
No, it just makes you dishonest. When you compare presidents (since you brought up comparisons to Carter), the worst POTUS in history is taa daa: DUBYA!
And they don't call this one Barack Obush for nothing. Same Tax code, extension of Patriot Act, out of control spending taken t o new highs, etc., with a democrat House and senate for most of it.
Happens. Most of what the POTUS gets blame/credit for is actually both parties and both houses of congress! Most of it needs approved and funded..........
Thanks for admitting it wasn't ok for Bush. The worst Bush policy was the Bush tax cut which benefited millionaires and Obama did disappoint me on that point.

Obama took the hand that the (D)'s and (R)'s in the House and Senate and GW gave him and expanded on it. Same stink, different pile.
