Prior to last week, it was reported he did a LOT on August 4, 2012. One of the things he didn't do was go skeet shooting. Unless you consider skeet shooting "a quiet evening off the campaign trail."

As of last week, he was skeet shooting on his birthday.

So, which do you think he actually did?

And no sooner than anyone noticed the contradictions in "official" information coming from The White House, The White House has a special taunt just for those that might question them. Say hello to the "skeeters".

    The photo op should have instructed Obama how to hold his gun before shooting. Just look at the picture, ... because he dosn't know what he is doing.

    Actually - yes. Shooting is relaxing. You have to concentrate on your weapon, you have to concentrate on your surroundings - and that concentration drives other things our of your mind. Shooting with friends and family is even more relaxing than shooting alone.

    I don't really know if Obama shoots skeet, or how often. He claims to shoot skeet, and he has a photo showing him firing a shotgun. WTF? You want to drag him into court to prove that he knows how to shoot?

    Somehow, I don't see this as really important.

    It may be relaxing, and I love shooting, but it's never been described as "quiet".

    It's only important because he made it a point in his debate over gun control. Otherwise, no one would have ever questioned how much he loves to shoot skeet.

    The photo is real, Obama is using a over/under 20-gauge shotgun with a .410 adapter (silver tip at the end of the barrel) with a ported barrel. The reasons for the modifications is to reduce recoil, .410s are popular starter guns for children.

    But he is not skeet shooting, you don't skeet shoot at a 90 degree angle.

    I never doubted the photo is real personally. I doubted the veracity of Pfeiffer's claim that he so loves skeet that he did it as recently as his birthday, as they claimed. Being as history has a very well documented agenda of what he did that day, and it never included shooting anything, I think they made it up for political expediency.

    The Secret Service gave him a gun , told him how to hold it and when to fire. It is a publicity stunt.

    This whole thing is such a joke! Obama made a statement that was questioned and the WH scrambled to produce a photo. The photo may be real, but when and where it was taken are very questionable.

    I ain't buying it, he looks like someone that's never fired a shotgun. and something is odd about the picture also. He seems to have the weapon to high on his shoulder,it looks as if he is looking down the side of it. And I must be getting old but since when did a shotgun muzzle vent to the side like that? Unless its some kind of new muzzle break I've never seen before.

    Obama is not skeet shooting. The Secret Service handed Obama a gun, told him how to hold it and told him shoot.
