I'm totaly against AMINESTY, but there are some cases that should be looked at on a one to one base. Theres a lot people been waiting the legal way what does this tell them.

I know of a Marine serving his country who is married to a Mexican gal. She only knows America as her home because shes been here since the age of 2. They have a couple of kids, been married several years and they own their home. Yet, she's illegal. When she tried to straighten things out, she was told she would have to return to Mexico and wait for the paperwork. She has no home in Mexico and no relatives she's aware of. She can't take the kids, her husband can't go with her. Are we supposed to break up the family because of something her parents did? I don't think so.
I once wrote my congressman that we should look at such cases. Maybe consider anyone who has had steady work and home for the last 5 years. Anyone under the age of 18 who can speak english and is attending school, because they've been here since they could crawl, should also be considered. I do take issue with anyone who would come here and demand we print documents in their homelands language. I take issue with anyone who knowingly and willfully snuck into the country and lied about papers in order to get a drivers license. Each of those people should be immediately deported.

The issue of Obama just deciding to give himself the authority to ignore the laws of our country, well that I don't agree with. He should have gone to congress and got it done the right way. If congress said no, then that's how it goes! That's why we have 3 separate areas of govt! We have the Constitution and our laws to keep people from Obama becoming the dictator in charge. Or better known as the imperial presidency.
The president of Mexico praised Obama for what he did. Until the president of Mexico is as lax with immigration as demands of the US, then I could care less what he has to say. I could also care less what Obama has to say when issues such executive orders without going through congress. If he had gone through congress and done this the legal way, there would have been two things he did that I agree with. This and the day he leaves the white house!
