What adjective best describes a Liberal/Progressive ?

Women have the right to choose... To not have a firearm to protect themselves or their family! (as an extreme example). My answer is actually targeted towards the extreme leftists who are not tolerant of anyone else's beliefs. I really get into a rage when I'm around or see people like that.

But seriously, the word "Liberal" comes from the Latin word "Liber", meaning liberty. It's funny to me, how they are very selective on the liberties that one can have. I'm reasonable. I consider myself pretty middle on most subjects and would consider myself an independant in most ways. slightly left liberals are pretty reasonable, but move further left and you get people who could arguably have a mental disorder and do not have the ability to form coherent thoughts.

I think both sides have some value, being a Independent moderate I think we really ought to unite. The people vs the greedy Government not libs vs conservatives or others. I think the powers that be like having factions that don't get along it helps mis-direct focus.

Obama has done a wonderful job of dividing the country on many lines. It's the one thing he's done well. You're right, it's the government that's the problem.

He also had a House run by the Democrats, and that was back in the days when the Senate would actually pass a budget. (now 1380 days since Dingy Harry's Senate did their job and passed a budget).

It's hilarious to see liberals saying conservatives hate facts and then scroll down to see conservatives saying liberals hate facts. It's a silly never ending game of pointing fingers. Like two kids in the back of the car both saying "he started it!" or "It's his fault!"
