Frankly I do not care if this is true or not. So search Snopes all you want. I liked it, so it's blogged! LOL
This 19 year old ex-cheerleader (now an Air Force Security Forces Sniper) was watching a road that led to a NATO military base when she observed a man digging by the road. She engaged the target (I.e., she shot him). It turned out he was a bomb maker for the Taliban, and he was burying an IED that was to be detonated when a US patrol walked by 30 minutes later. It would have certainly killed and wounded several soldiers.
The interesting fact of this story is the shot was measured at 725 yards. She shot him as he was bent over burying the bomb. The shot went through his butt and into the bomb which detonated; he was blown to pieces. The Air Force made a motivational poster of her:
(Folks, that's a shot 25 yards longer than seven football fields!) And the last thing that came out of his mouth ... Was his ass!

Front Of Them!
*Update: I received an email saying that part of this story was made up (on Snopes.) However, I found another site that says something a little different than even Snopes. I'll let you all make up your own minds, but regardless I still like the story and am leaving it up:)

Frankly, Marie, I have long believed that the female of our species is far more dangerous than history, sociology or psychology paints her. A great question to ask is "As a woman, what are you willing to do to protect your loved ones and nation?" Terrorist scum should be afraid, very afraid.View thread

But now lets look at each as human beings. Ah, yes, both are human, so the similarities compare greatly. I like to look at people and recognize each have their own unique ability, gift, character about them that should be utilized to benefit the task/ situation at hand. My own sister has been at extremely high management levels in her pass corporate jobs, preforming at levels that equal or surpass her male counter parts. I've come to learn not to judge a woman lightly over anything.
This posting helps to confirm, women are a force to reckon with, you'd be a fool to think otherwise!
I remember in 1953, that we had an Air Force lady (WAF) stationed with us in Kunsan , Korea, and she proved her spunk to the amazement of all us guys. And on top of all her machoism, she never lost her femininity and passion! A real woman for a real man! We all loved her!
