Why have half the Afghan deaths happened since Obama took office?
As of July 31, almost half of all U.S. fatalities in Afghanistan have happened on President Barack Obama’s watch. Since Obama took office in January 2009, 558 U.S. troops have died in Afghanistan, out of 1,127 since the war began nine years ago, according to CNSNews.com’s tally.

And the violence is escalating. July 2010 was the deadliest month for U.S forces in Afghanistan, with 66 combat and non-combat fatalities.

Counting for both combat and non-combat deaths, the top three bloodiest months for U.S. forces all happened during Obama’s term: July 2010 (66 dead), June 2010 (60 dead), and October 2009 (58 dead).

For the 558 U.S. soldiers who have died so far on Obama’s watch, 513 (about 92 percent) were killed in combat. Those 513 combat-related deaths on Obama’s watch account for more than half of the 963 combat deaths that have taken place since the war began in October 2001.

Record of appeasement, supporting the wrong factions, and insulting our best allies.

You are right. That is why I don't vote by party affiliation. Joe Lieberman is my favorite current (and soon to retire) politician. JFK was my lifetime favorite. He said it like it is.

NASA administrator Charles Bolden gave an interview in late June to Al Jazeera television and told the Arabic-language news network that before he took his new job, Obama told him that "perhaps" his "foremost" duty was "to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering." This is ludicrous. It is not our government's job to make foreigners feel good about themselves.

No that isn't our job! And unless we want to manipulate other countries, for our own agenda, we don't make other countries feel good about themselves. Our own government dosent even care to make our own country feel good about themselves unless it's an election year. Then all they do is tell us what we want to hear!!!!! History continues to repeat itself because we refuse to learn from it.

End to the Iraq War, returning our Troops home. New Nuclear-reduction Treaties to reduce the Nuclear Weapons that Ronald Reagan called a threat to peace. Sanctions on Iran. New Free Trade agreements with Korea and Columbia creating freer markets and more economic trade. The fall of a state sponsor of Terrorism against America in Libya. Plan to draw-down from Afghanistan where our nation-building efforts have led nowhere. Dismantling of Al-Qaeda through effective campaign of drone strikes and targeted raids. Oh, and the Death of Osama bin Laden.

Yes, Obama's foreign policy record is clearly a failure...

There you go again longstride, acting just like a liberal, NEVER LETTING THE REAL FACTS GET IN THE WAY OF RUNNING YOUR MOUTH. Let's see Obuttman claimed it was all about Gittmo, so he was closing it? Hmmmmm, fact ONE. Let's see Obuttman is taking credit for the withdrawl from Iraq when it was set in stone over a year before Bush left office. Hmmmmm? Dove in headfirst in Libya hmmmmmmm? Now we have al qaeda ruling the roost there, Egypt, the terrorist group the MUZZIE BROTHERHOOD in charge, with the president of Egypt itself now is and was a TERRORIST FOR THE MUZZIE BROTHERHOOD, Hmmmmmm. AND AS FOR THE DEATH OF OSAMA BIN LADEN THE NAVY SEALS KILLED HIM, THE CIA TRACKED HIM DOWN, so if I am going to vote for a person or persons' who KILLED OSAMA then I AM VOTING FOR A NAVY SEAL. And good old loyal SCRAWN ASS INEPT WORST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY HAS ALLOWED THE DOCTOR WHO HELPED THE CIA FIND OSAMA BE IMPRISONED FOR TREASON IN PAKISTAN. Oh boy, now there is some LIBERAL FOREIGN POLICY I CAN DIG MY TEETH INTO. INCOMPETENCE, LIES, AND TAKING CREDIT WHERE NONE IS DUE.

If being a Liberal means being able to write in coherent sentences, I'll take it as a complement.

Let's get some things straight. Conservatives opposed the closing of Guantanamo Bay, so by all accounts you should be glad he relented to the Military and allowed it to stay open. The Iraq Withdrawal was NOT set in stone, many Congressional Republicans were pushing for an extension to US troops on the ground which was vetoed by the Pentagon and the White House. Libya is an emerging democracy like any, and as John McCain has so forcefully stated, the Libyan people are on our side, denounce attacks like the one in Benghazi have elected relative Moderates to their assembly and have overthrown a leader that supported the MURDER OF US CITIZENS.

It was Barack Obama's decision to send in a Navy Seal team as opposed to a Drone Strike to ensure bin Laden's demise over the objections of the military. Do I completely support and respect our Seals, our CIA Operatives in the field and our analysts? Yes. But the Commander and Chief decides.

BUT OF COURSE SINCE YOU DIDN'T READ ANY OF THIS AND ARE ALREADY EITHER BLOCKING AND/OR TYPING A RESPONSE, WHAT DOES IT MATTER?

On top of that, his cabinet is composed of liars and cheats and thieves.

Obama has a great foreign policy record...if you are an enemy of America...from Moscow to Tehran to Beijing, they celebrate Obamas foreign policy.
Americas friends are abused, insulted and betrayed while Obama reaches out in friendship to those who hate America...and receives the middle finger in return. How many millions of $ do we give Libya, Egypt, Yemen and other enemy states?

I'm sure Obama's staff IS proud. They've wanted a weaker America from the start. Their liberal goal is for social justice (a communist key phrase) and the spread of Americas wealth not just to every American, but spread out to the world. Never mind that this will just make EVERYONE poor but it will also lead to more chaos when there isn't anyone around to keep petty dictators and mad leaders in check.

This country needs a strong leader, one who leads from the front and who's goal is to support and strengthen America, not subvert it as Obama has. We need someone who will defend our country, not give it away through weakness and appeasement. We need someone who understands how capitalism and a free market economy works. Not just for America, but for the entire planet, for where the US economy goes, the rest of the world soon follows.

    We need... mitt romney
