Well, would you expect either party to tell it like it is on any subject. They all pick and choose what they are going to say as opposed to what was really said. But the Democrats have become expert of it. Especially so when they want it to be negative.

I guess Fox News has short term memory.

Unfortunately this is what we accept as standard political behavior. Many republican do exactly the same thing. Is it dishonest? You bet but it seems to work, especially if you are talking about fairly uninformed voters, the most likely to vote democrat base their voting decisions on 30 second commercials.

Again uninformed or not, their vote counts just as much as yours and mine.

That is why informed Americans need to do everything we can to encourage our family and friends to inform themselves from many different sourcses and show up and vote!

You do not need to try and influence their voting decison. When people, just every day Americans are just informed of the facts they can and will make the right decision. The challenge is getting them motivated to realise that a small percentage (voters) of people will decide the direction of the country. As a conservative American, I don't fear anything but Americans who don't care enough to find out for themselves who is leading our country, are they doing a good job? Do you think their particular vision is the right thing for the country?

Do not be diverted from the facts by side issues. People who can't defend their record and beliefs divert the discussion.

Some of the non-neocon Republicans in Congress are spelling out the danger we Americans face from a fiscal standpoint and are raising the alarm. But it apparently is falling on deaf ears on both sides of the congressional aisle.

IMHO America is teetering on the precipice of going tits up.
