Well, its about time all those who have passed it, repeal it. They should not have passed the laws in the first place. Its just another misguided law, that is not supported within the Constitution. And those who supported it know it to be so.

Its not gay bashing, its the truth. That is what should be the bottom line. And another example of how a minority fringe group, can force others to adhere to their beliefs, and becomes a political tool of the left to glean a vote.
We now have Gays, Atheists, Abortionists, Anti Gun, Anti Constitution, Planned Parenthood, Public this and public that, being courted by the government, and the Social Engineers, that are pushing to have this Republic become a Socialist Society or worse.

Many people object to gay marriage because they believe marriage is a spiritual union of usually two people and usually one man and one woman. Everyone has the right to their own belief of what the spiritual content of marriage is. We should not be giving that decision to government. The spiritual content of marriage must be a matter of individual freedom of conscience and religion.

It is the legitimate function of government to protect our equal, sovereign individual rights to life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of our individual happiness. If government presumes to control the spiritual content of marriage, this can only infringe upon our freedom of conscience and deprive us of a most important freedom to pursue our happiness. Governments only provide a contract for domestic partnerships. This contract is not a marriage and it is most presumptuous of governments to call it that. The fact that it does is a presumption of power in the spiritual realm which no government has. The spiritual values each of us has are our own. If we wish to protect those values, we must not allow government to hijack the meaning of marriage and simply apply it to a mere contract for a domestic partnership.

A gay individual has the same right to pursue their happiness that any other person has. The have the same right to a domestic partnership as anyone else has. The government must not discriminate against the happiness of some. Yes, a religious group may condemn a gay couple for being in a domestic partnership and they may choose to say that the gay couple are not married. But government should offer the same types of contracts to all people and not be in the business of making spiritual or religious evaluations of individual's values or of the acceptability of the sexuality of consenting adults. Government should not be using the word marriage and it should not be trying to exercise power over marriage.

Most of them are cowards any way you look at it, and in this case I would applaud them taking the easy way out and put it on the ballot. Anyplace its been on the ballot, homo marraige lost, and the same would happen in NH.

'Gay' marriage is Unconstitutional. Period. You cannot take a precept of the Christian religion and allow the government to apply it to a behavior that is called an abomination in the Christian Bible. That is making a law--establishing a religious law--for a purely evil behavior.
This is why liberal bigots hate history and religion. Marriage comes from the Bible and has been used and abused by secularists and other cults.

1890 Supreme Court rules that America “is a religious people. . . . this is a Christian nation” as such it is fitting that its people would teach their children the Christian faith. (The Trinity Case)

According to most encyclopaedias, a Republic is a "state or country having a government whose political power depends solely on the consent of the people governed." The Constitution, if interpreted with common horse sense, dictates that the majority of the people should have at least some input into how the United States is governed. Liberal manipulation, however, has effectively dissolved the influence and vote of the majority and has displaced Majority Rules with Minority Rules.

I'm getting sick of this. Either pass the damned law or repeal it.

I don't give a damn what they do anymore. Let the men get hysterectomies and the women get prostrate operations. I just don't care.

This "movement" is all about economics. Gays have been living together for decades, but because of the cost of medical insurance as well as some other benefits married couples enjoy, gays have decided to attack the establishment and solicit favors from unscrupulous politicians. Since the vast majority of people oppose gay marriages for various reasons the politicians dare not allow it to be put to a vote, so what is the basis for all these various laws and regulations addressing gays?

I hope this goes through (and , yes, I am gay) because one needs to look at the bigger picture involved

    25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

    26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

    27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."

    28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."

    40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

    41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

From the Naked Communist" Someday take a look, and see how many of the 45 goals have been accomplished so far

state group, Standing Up for New Hampshire Families, has cited recent polls showing a majority of those surveyed oppose stripping the marriage law.

"How much more evidence do our legislators need to realize that repealing marriage equality -- which has allowed more than 1,800 Granite State couples to marry -- is a bad idea and one that voters overwhelmingly reject?" Craig Stowell, co-chairman of Standing Up for New Hampshire Families, said in a statement.
