An ex-U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement intelligence chief is expected to plead guilty on Tuesday for his part in a kickback scheme that defrauded the government half a million dollars, according to a report.

James Woosley faces one count of embezzlement for the scam, which involved at least five other ICE employees. The U.S. Attorney’s office charging document states that Woosley and the others submitted “fraudulent travel claims and time and attendance claims for expenses that were not legitimately incurred.”

Four have already pleaded guilty in the scheme. Lateisha Rollerson, Woosley’s former assistant who often lived with him, pleaded guilty on March 29 and is scheduled for sentencing on June 7. As part of her plea agreement, Rollerson will forfeit the $295,866 she gained from the scheme. The other three former ICE employees who have been convicted are Ahmed Adil Abdallat, William Korn and Stephen E. Henderson.

Woosley worked first as Deputy Director for the ICE Office of Intelligence before moving on to serve as Acting Director in 2009, and a year later becoming Acting Assistant Director of Intelligence in the then-newly formed Homeland Security Investigations headquarters.

Between May 2008 and February 2011, Woosley and others “did willfully and knowingly embezzle, steal, purloin and convert” government funds for themselves, the charging document states. Prosecutors are seeking $183,125 from Woosley for what he obtained in the scheme.

Woosley is expected to plead guilty in federal court on Tuesday, according to Fox News.

Every member of his administrative cabinet, counsel, staff, every department head, sub head or director should be jailed and fined.

Imagine the press IF a Bush appointee had done even ONE of the things the bk's did. If Obama gets another four years there will be no stopping him. Hard to believe, but knowing he had to hold back some, because he had to think of being re-elected during his first term, he did not do the extensive amount of damage he will do if he is re-elected. Knowing he will not have to face another re-election, Obama will unleash his full wrath of Hell upon us, and America will be transformed into a third world country! Remember, he has held back 350 BILLION of his second stimulus, and there is the 1 billion slush fund from BP that he alone is in charge of, and the Soylndra and other green companies cash for bankruptcy, plus the war chest he had leftover from the last election, his current collections AND that hollyweird blockbuster, the full access movie all about binladne that will hit in October.

He has all of the media, all of hollyweird, and most rich people on his side, they like his tax policies because it sticks the middle with the bills for the upper and lower classes.

You bring up a good point! I've been constantly reminding people how much this upcoming Democratic National Convention will look like Chicago when SDS marched! Same thing will happen with OWS in Charlotte! Those North Carolinians are going to really REGRET ever having that convention there!

If he is so interested in taxing the rich, he is welcome to NOT take his deductions. Taking his deductions allowed him to pay only 20% of his 758,000 income in taxes, but families earning just at the $40,000 mark pay a record 38% in taxes, net.

he is welcome to start by taxing himself.

The proposed increased taxation on the rich will apply to the 15% capital gains tax where most of the wealthy's income comes from...not wage earnings ...and is estimated to bring in about 5 billion in increased revenue. Our debt is about 16 trillion. 5 billion is not even one drop in a 1000 gallon bucket....and wait a minute ...my profits on my IRA and 401k and investments are capital gains.

This guy has the economic brains of an idiot.
