Hatch overcomes tea party challenge to win primary

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Sen. Orrin Hatch won the GOP primary in Utah on Tuesday, handily turning back a challenge from tea party forces hoping to jolt the Republican Party again by defeating an incumbent who occasionally strayed from the movement's focus on shrinking the federal government.

    He has only been in office since 1976. He has a few good terms left. Far better he is in the office than a RWNJ from the T Party.

    Knew there was a reason I made damned sure I voted today. The biggest complaint Hatch's opponent offered was that Hatch was 'old'. The lesson to be learned: never piss off 'gray power', snot-nose!
