Proposed List Of Demands For Occupy Wall St Movement!

Admin note: This is not an official list of demands. This is a forum post submitted by a single user and hyped by irresponsible news/commentary agencies like Fox News and Mises.org.
This content was not published by the OccupyWallSt.org collective, nor
was it ever proposed or agreed to on a consensus basis with the NYC
General Assembly. There is NO official list of demands.

Demand one: Restoration of the living wage. This demand can only be
met by ending "Freetrade" by re-imposing trade tariffs on all imported
goods entering the American market to level the playing field for
domestic family farming and domestic manufacturing as most nations that
are dumping cheap products onto the American market have radical wage
and environmental regulation advantages. Another policy that must be
instituted is raise the minimum wage to twenty dollars an hr.

Demand two: Institute a universal single payer healthcare system. To
do this all private insurers must be banned from the healthcare market
as their only effect on the health of patients is to take money away
from doctors, nurses and hospitals preventing them from doing their jobs
and hand that money to wall st. investors.

Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.

Demand four: Free college education.

Demand five: Begin a fast track process to bring the fossil fuel
economy to an end while at the same bringing the alternative energy
economy up to energy demand.

Demand six: One trillion dollars in infrastructure (Water, Sewer, Rail, Roads and Bridges and Electrical Grid) spending now.

Demand seven: One trillion dollars in ecological restoration planting
forests, reestablishing wetlands and the natural flow of river systems
and decommissioning of all of America's nuclear power plants.

Demand eight: Racial and gender equal rights amendment.

Demand nine: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live.

Demand ten: Bring American elections up to international standards of
a paper ballot precinct counted and recounted in front of an
independent and party observers system.

Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all.
Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages,
home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans
now! All debt must be stricken from the "Books." World Bank Loans to all
Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the
stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65
trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the "Books." And I
don't mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet
period.

Demand twelve: Outlaw all credit reporting agencies.

Demand thirteen: Allow all workers to sign a ballot at any time
during a union organizing campaign or at any time that represents their
yeah or nay to having a union represent them in collective bargaining or
to form a union.

These demands will create so many jobs it will be completely impossible to fill them without an open borders policy.

You know what I find so incredible is that these youngsters, our"best and brightest" have no concept of economics. It is nothing more than simple math and they still can't get it.

What ever happened to "what you can do for your country". Now it's what can your country do for you.. They want to be taken care of cradle to grave. They want a mommy and a daddy to take care of all their needs forever. Babies that never grew up. They are disgusting parasites.

    TACTICS FOR "DEMANDS FOR CONGRESS"

We should make the demands below very publicly at a press conference a few days after arriving in DC. When doing so, we should give a clear deadline of 3 days for a firm written commitment with signatures from at least 60% of members of House and 60% of the members of the Senate to pass these bills by the end of the year. If this commitment on the full slate of demands is not met by midnight on the 3rd day (which it won't be) we should be prepared to non-violently block access to all or part of the Capitol complex the next morning by traditional proven non-violent tactics. The purpose is to bring the leaders of the House and Senate to the negotiating table.

NOTE: There are always entrances because there is always a point where people who work there have to leave the public street and enter secure space. We should focus our non-violent direct action and civil disobedience on those entrances no matter where they move them because these are, by definition, always accessible.

LIST OF PROPOSED "DEMANDS FOR CONGRESS"

    1.

CONGRESS PASS HR 1489 ("RETURN TO PRUDENT BANKING ACT" http://www.govtrack.us/congre... ). THIS REINSTATES MANY PROVISIONS OF THE GLASS-STEAGALL ACT. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... --- Wiki entry summary: The repeal of provisions of the Glass–Steagall Act of 1933 by the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act in 1999 effectively removed the separation that previously existed between investment banking which issued securities and commercial banks which accepted deposits. The deregulation also removed conflict of interest prohibitions between investment bankers serving as officers of commercial banks. Most economists believe this repeal directly contributed to the severity of the Financial crisis of 2007–2011 by allowing Wall Street investment banking firms to gamble with their depositors' money that was held in commercial banks owned or created by the investment firms. Here's detail on repeal in 1999 and how it happened: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... .

Your "analysis" is a corporatist list of red herrings and outright lies in support of profits over people. We have a free trade agreement with countries that place tons of restrictions on imports from us. We're playing the sap, or more acurately, Wall Street and big Corporations have bought the lawmakers and stacked the deck so they win every hand. If that bankrupts the middle class, what's it to them. THey're multinatinals and can just move on.

The Fed had to pump $16 trillion into the big Wall Street Banks and major corporations to keep them form failing after they bought lawmakers off and got themselves deregulated to the point they could play casino capitalism. Did anybody go to jail? Nop. In fact, they gave themselves multimillion dollar bonuses. The top hedge fund manager makes $3.5 million an hour and pays a far lower tax rate than the average working stiff. And you wonder why people are mad as hell.

The American people are finally catching on to what the Greedy Oligarch Pigs have been up to. And not to let Democrats off either. Enough of them have been bought off by lobbyists that nothing can get done to reign in Wall Street. They gutted the regulations that would have prevented the market collapse from happening again. We want a constitutional amendment telling the Supreme Corporatists (er, Court) that corporations are NOT people, and that politics should not be for sale to the highest bidder.

I guess because of demand 3 all the rest in moot... after all who would want to work if they can get paid 20 and hour for not doing so... and in that case what does anyone neeed to be educated for if tehy don't have to do anything to earn $20 and what do we need green engery for if everyone is staying home doing nothing earning $20 and why fix infrastruction if no one is using fule to go anywhere because everyone can stay home and earn $20 and if no one is going anywhere and infrastructor is not being rebuilt and fule is not being use then wouldn't the enviornement recover and wouldn't equality become an issue for inside the home since no one is going anywhere because staying home means $20 and who would go away where where they may not be able to stay home and earn $20....

You know these idiots put up a face book page and a website nad no one who is posting or using the site seems to have a clue about how logic works let alone how economics work... but oh well... if you want a good laugh you can visit their site too
