I was wondering if we
could all help our teammates on the schools committee out by forwarding the CA
Facebook petition to Tell the Presidential Candidates
to attend the National Forum on Disability Issues to your friends,
family, neighbors and colleagues – and encourage them to sign and send it to
their networks as well.

Of course anyone
folks can use the share tool on the petition page to share it with their
facebook friends, but with the link above you can also share it with anyone via
email – and not have to do it 25 people at a time. Its much
easier!

Don't bother with Romney. As governor of Massachusetts he repeatedly line-vetoed items that would have helped the disabled - one legislation asked for a $40,000 elevator improvement project while the second asked for $25,000 to make ADA improvements so people with disabilities could actually use the elevators they were suppose to have access to.

At the time Mitt Romney said the programs: “Would be nice to have, but which we cannot justify paying for out of rainy day funds. A smaller number of these projects are just pure pork.”

He did, however, maintain a private elevator at the Capitol for his exclusive personal use.
