We knew this was coming. Catholic dioceses, colleges sue over Obama mandate - Hooray!
Among the plaintiffs is the University of Notre Dame, which in February had praised President Barack Obama for pledging to accommodate religious groups and find a way to soften the rule. Notre Dame president, the Rev. John Jenkins, said the school had since decided to sue because "progress has not been encouraging" in talks with administration officials.
The lawsuits have been filed in eight states and the District of Columbia by the Archdioceses of Washington and New York, the Michigan Catholic Conference, Catholic Charities in Illinois, Mississippi, Missouri and Indiana, health care agencies in New York and two dioceses in Texas.
"We have tried negotiation with the administration and legislation with the Congress, and we'll keep at it, but there's still no fix," said New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. "Time is running out, and our valuable ministries and fundamental rights hang in the balance, so we have to resort to the courts now."
May they prevail over the Usurper-in-Office. Only one that IS not a "True" American would force feed ITs socialistic agenda when it is "clear" that the majority of Americans and Employers do NOT want this nor do the the majority of Americans want Oblunder care. That's a fact.
Oh, yes, I know there will be naysayers, zip it or cross your legs. Or, you can just forgo your vice for an hour (and pay the $9.00 for a month's supply), that would be a novelty, wouldn't it? Pay for your own birth control and quit your crying. Truth hurts.

Just a refresher of the 2,700 bogus plan.

22 states already have such a law on the books. Six of them were signed into law by Republican governors. In 2000 the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, ruled all employers with more than 15 workers must cover contraceptives for women if they offer health plans that cover preventive services and prescription drugs. After Bush took office, the Republicans could have reversed the ruling. Not only did they not do so, but John Ashcroft (not exactly your liberal sympathizer) told the Senate Judiciary Committee that he would defend the EEOC rule.
By the way, the position of the administration on implementation is that they would have exempted an employer that "has the inculcation of religious values as its purpose," primarily employs and serves people of the same religion, and is a nonprofit. Guess that was too hard to live with for the Catholic Church. Wonder which part they think they don't fall under? Values or nonprofit?
Finally, love the fact that "clear" is in quotes in your rant.
It is obvious and not even an argument to claim that a follower of a religion might perform actions that are contrary to religious dogma.
The best solution for this would be for the workers at the Catholic business to form Unions and force the Bishops and Cardinals to give them the kind of health care they want and need, but if that isn't done then the rules that affect any other business should apply to the business owned by the Catholic church. Note we are not talking about the church here so the first amendment does not apply. We are talking about businesses.

They are not CINOs, "Christians In Name Only", or JINOs, "Jews In Name Only".
