I couldn't agree with you more. There is so much wasteful spending in the Federal government. The politicians need to start with them first. They need to take a leadership role and take a pay cut. It may be advantageous that they close up some the those tax loop holes for the filthy rich, too.

We are not just broke, we owe tons of money.
This deficit began about the same time that LBJ's Great Society progam began. I think only Nixon managed to balance the budget one year since then.

This is what Americans voted for.

It is sad that so many Americans FAIL to realize that the sum total of what the DNC has to offer remains TAX and SPEND. They have NO plans to stop the recession, they have NO coherent energy policy, and NO PLANS to fix the TOXIC ASSetts problem today.

As long as most Americans remain satisfied with sitting on their big FAT ASSetts instead of getting DIRECTLY involved at the grass roots level things will only get worse. ;o)

He , with people of the same psyche and belief systems, are single handily remolding America to what THEY believe it should be, contrary to the majority of the masses. Democratic vote, transparency and all the rhetoric was the hook that lured the unsuspecting and those without good discernment, into a trap at the voting booth, similar to what Hitler did with the German people in the late 1920’s and into the 1930’s. His spiteful, narcissist behavior has been the foundational aspects of history’s most notorious including Adolf Hitler.

Oh, I get it all right. This is a mere continuation of the process the Democrat Party has been following for DECADES.

Back in the 1960's the Democrats robbed the Social Security trust fund, in the 70's they continued with their tax and spend plans. It was Ronald Reagan who managed to do the tax cutting that created the revision of our robust economy and Cigarman who put the brakes on that in the 90's.

Even though America suffered through several crisis's at the start of the 21st. Century the Bush tax cuts kept us out of a recession until the Democrats took back the House and FAILED to regulate Fannie/Freddie which gave us ALL of the 'Toxic Assets that we still have three years later.

Trump has already leaked his plans to run as an Independent which will guarantee 0bama's re-election. I wonder how much Donald thinks 0bama will allow him to pocket for his efforts.

I'll stick with the facts. You stick with trying to figure out the mind of the 0bamaBorg. ;o)

pocket efforts ill stick facts stick figure mind 0bamaborg

You have a point, but Obama and the Democrats don't get it they want to spend more, because they think it is their money not ours. I am still angry at Bush for allowing Barney Frank and Chris Dodd to do what they did and Bush allowing that first Bailout we should have just put that money through a shredder. Then Obama was excited to continue as many Stimulus packages as he could. So where is our return on this? Banks are still failing and closing their doors or selling out to other banks. We have lost over 100 last year and over 35 this year.

Something is fundamentally wrong. I think the job requires and extensive interview that for years came from the voters who had discernment and knowledge and true human nature who could see a BSer like Obama a mile away. Today most are plain stupid, suckers, credulous, and downright naïve and fall for an Obama at the voting booth. People in this country better pull their head out of their backside, tune off the cell phone, get involved, question authority, and sharpen their discernment skills and human interaction so see good from bad, right from wrong.

Since the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 is illegal according to the constitution we should sonfiscate the gold from the private federal reserve bank deduct our debt from the amount that we owe the federal reserve print non interest silver and gold certificates, Repeal the federal Reserve act of 1913, Repeal the 16th amendment, and replace with the FairTax, trade the debts we owe to other countries with amount that we own of other countries and begin a properous future.

...And it's our own fault for letting it happen. It really IS in our hands to turn it around but Americans won't take action and fix it. Those of us with the money, the guns, the brains and the will to fix it could win if we would just do it.

    Frustrating.

I can't believe tha government advises us to be responsible with our money then refuses to cut their spending and wants to borrow more money so we have to pay it back. Then They'll print more money so our money is worthless and raise taxes because inflation won't allow them to cover all their "needs". What a con job.

Most people believe what our government tells them, so they think everything is going to be OK. And when things start not to work, it will be to late, and the politicins that caused it to happen will be long gone and out of office, so there will be no one to blame but ourselves for letting our political leaders get away with it, because really We The People did nothing after they started to fleece america, we just let it happen, hoping for the best, and well the best didn't happen, matter of fact the worst happened.
So now our children, and their children will be paying back all that money that helped the war
effort, the bailouts, all those corrupt banks, and the wall street grifters.

And the bad news, if we needed any more, is it won't stop happening until we go independent. Get rid of all the democrats, and all the republicans, and vote in independent candidates.
When you think about it we have given the democrats and republicans over one hundred years to get it right, and here we are today, does everything look right????
This next election America is going to see something new, that has never happened before, a hugh independent voter turnout like never before in history. And it's gonna be about time. Don't waste you vote again, vote independent.

independent voter turnout history gonna waste vote vote independent

We need to take that power away from Congress by; 1) Taking away access to all lobbyist. 2) A lifetime ban on lobbying to all Congressmen after they retire. 3) Term limits of 2 terms to all Congressmen. Government should not be a career for politicians.

Sure, I'll agree with you that this would help, but some portions of it raise some freedom issues. For example, we have the constitutional right to petition the government for redress of grievances. That is the right that corporations are excersizing when they hire lobbyists. After all, heavy taxation IS a grievance.

The Federal Fair Tax would fix that problem and many others. Do a little research on it, and it's easy to see how it fixes the loopholes and lobbyists issue, brings American money home, and stimulates our economy in an unprecedented way.
