Who cares? He's entitled to be president!

Back in June 2002, when Mitt Romney wanted to run for Governor of Massachusetts, there were suspicions that he no longer had sufficient ties to the state to be eligible to run. A hearing was held. At the hearing, Mitt and his lawyer alleged that although he had left the state to help put on the Olympics, he was still very involved in his business activities at Bain, travelling frequently back to Massachusetts for activities relater to his duties as head of Bain Capital.
Romney's lawyer at the Massachusetts hearing said that Romney's work in the private sector continued "unabated" while he ran the Olympics: "He succeeded in that three-year period in restoring confidence in the Olympic Games, closing that disastrous deficit and staging one of the most successful Olympic Games ever to occur on U.S. soil. Now while all that was going on, very much in the public eye, what happened to his private and public ties to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts? And the answer is they continued unabated just as they had."
Based on what Mitt is now saying, it appears he lied in June 2002 so he could be found eligible to run for governor.

It's 101% clear from his recorded testimony that he gave to the Massachusetts elections board that he was still fully involved with Bain Capital until 2002 when he formally retired.
He was still drawing a salary that was at least $100,000 per annum, he was still listed as their sole stock holder, chairman and CEO/President, and while he may not have been making day to day operational decisions, the job of steering the company towards future investments was most definitely one of his job duties at Bain after 1999.

So he lied to the SEC when he said he left Bain in 1999, and he's lying to the American people now when he said he had no involvement with Bain in 2001 and 2002 when thousands of jobs were shipped overseas while domestic Bain holdings were stripped bare, and shut down.

When you add it all up, he was clearly involved with Bain and their continuing mission to rape and pillage companies and pioneer outsourcing jobs. It appears he was eligible to be governor, but his lying and deception makes him inappropriate to be elected President.

Mitt is not a traitor. He is a patriotic American. He is just a dishonest patriot.
Had Fox news not buried attacks by his fellow Republicans early in the primaries, he would have been properly vetted, and would have been eliminated long ago.

Yes, gutter politics happens whenever a candidate tells a lie and it isn't swept under the rug. Should we let them get away with it when they lie?

Where is the immigration policy he said he was sending, where was the budget he said he was sending - the list is endless. Look he, as well as other politicians, speak in platitudes when they run for office but we have the right to expect them to do something when they win. He keeps talking and doing nothing. He has talked us blue about immigration since 2008 when he was running - there has been not even pen put to paper until his flagrant abuse of the immigration law by executive order - not because a bill failed or was even proposed or even a memo sent to anyone. No budget passed by Senate in over 1000 days.

Look, like the hell out of the guy but realize; he talks well and sounds great but there is no action and has not been for his entire stay - he is saying all the same things he said in 2008 - there is no there there.

    Here is the there:
Senate Republicans Block DREAM Act for Illegal Immigrants
Senate Republicans today blocked a controversial immigration measure that would have provided a conditional path to legal residency for hundreds of thousands of young, undocumented immigrants first brought to the U.S. illegally by their parents.

By a vote of 55 to 41, the bill -- the Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors, or DREAM Act -- failed to win the 60 votes needed to break a GOP filibuster, even though the measure passed the House last week.

That is not immigration reform - that is amnesty for illegals here - try again, The nightmare act has been around for years and been voted down by both republicans and democrats - and it should be every time. We need reform as promised not amnesty
