The Military loved him, the secret service loved him, enough voters loved him or he wouldn't have won 2 terms, and even the loony left media loved him for the fun they had at his expense, but he took it like a MAN and kept his cool, and did what he had to for the country we all know he loves! The military hates O-stupid, the secret service hates both O-vomits, the voters of this country will let him know how much we don't love him in November, but on the bright side, the media will keep their mouths firmly wrapped around his pencil-dick for years to cum, regardless of the damage he's done and still doing to the country WE love!

Oh, yeah! On just a side note, at least we KNOW Bush is a true American! Even his father could become president! Let's just see if O-Vomit can stand up to that kind of scrutiny! His scum sucking father would be in gitmo if he was alive today!

    obama sucks

He just wasn't conservative enough for me.

Obama is not worth the dirt underneath Bush's feet, however.

Bad is too good for Obama...Words cannot express my disdain for such a disgrace.

Because he knew the press would continue to demonize him. What other way could Obamass have free reign to hoodwink the undereducated and misinformed liberals?

Because of the bogus information he and Cheney put out there, 1.45 million Iraqis are dead. Plus our troops that died. They manipulated the information and squashed people like Joe Wilson that were telling the truth. They had no WMD's therefore the U.S. attacked a country unjustly. Their blood is on this country's hands.

I'm not saying Obama is better, Bush was one hundred times better than Obama could ever be, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he was a good president

You know that Bush took significantly more vacation than Obama. There are many, many sources, look the up. For example to quote The Atlantic "Obama spent 70 days vacationing over his first 31 months, compared to 225 vacation days taken by Bush over the same period"

Bush spent far more. The right likes to think that because he spent much of his time flying back and forth to Crawford Bush spent less. The truth is that far and away most of the cost of Presidential travel costs are Air Force One, secret service, staff, etc. Only a very small portion is location costs.

George H. W. Bush was the head of the CIA, and a man who knew how the world worked. He stopped fighting Saddam the first time for a reason. He was also the man who first called Reaganomics “Voodoo Economics” (in the GOP Presidential Debate when he was running against Reagan, before Reagan made Bush his running mate), though he sure did do a 180° on that, more’s the pity.

That said, Daddy Bush was, while not all that great, far and away better than his son.

I think your boy holds that honor. We have NEVER had our triple A credit rating downgraded. Who's watch did that happen under? Oh yeah Obam!
And if I'm not mistaken he is directly responsible for the unrest in Libya. I could go on, but there is not enough time in the day!
  • COMALite J gvc 2012/11/12 06:06:16

The actual credit agencies who actually downgraded our AAA credit rating said in their report that the specific reason that they did so was the absolute refusal of the GOP Congress (mainly because of Grover Norquist and his seditious pledge) to raise taxes. They said that if the GOP Congress had compromised with Obama and the Congressional Democrats, they would not have downgraded the credit rating.

Sorry, that one’s on your side.

Actually you are wrong! The reason was a President who refused to cut spending.
Not surprised that Liberals still don't get it.

#1, Show me that in the reports from the credit agencies. What I said is in there really is.

#2, Obama agreed to cut spending drastically. He agreed to 98% of what the GOP Congress wanted (according to Bœhner’s own words), but they refused even that.

absolutely, ultimately he will be one of the top 2-3 worse presidents. while its to early he will be in the conversation with buchanan, harding, and johnson.

he's been out of office for almost 4 years now and still has a 20%-25% approval rating. i don't think people will get over the feeling that he stole the presidency from gore!

George W. Bush did not steal the election from Gore.

His brother Jeb, then-Governor of Florida, stole it (via the DBT / ChoicePoint voter roll purge) and gave it to George as a gift-wrapped present. The Supreme Court decision with the recounts was just the bow.

Ultimately, I think he was ok. However, whether you agree with the invasion of Iraq or not, the huge mistake that Bush made was going into Iraq before finishing business in Afghanistan. And let's not forget that Bush had to deal with a hostile Dem-led congress during the majority of his second term as well. So, was he a great president? No But, I still think that he is at least a little under rated.

There were some things that I did not agree with but for the most part, he was an excellent president. He had the unfortunate opportunity to be president on 9-11, but he led us with dignity and honor. Only the ignorant believe that the Iraq war was not necessary, but he led us in that war with congressional approval. Unfortunately, he lost congress during his final quarter of service which caused financial difficulties. He was an honorable man and he made me proud.

Yes. I am sorry, but he was. I am very conservative, and he allowed himself to be pushed around. He didn't veto a SINGLE bill in the first year of his presidency, he allowed things to happen that he shouldn't have.

He is a good man, and we have a worse president now, but we have not had an actually good president since Reagan.

He was just about useless. Lied to get the country into 2 wars where we didn't belong, helped tank the economy so that his friends could make millions, authorized the torture of people that where probably innocent of the crimes they where considered for, refused to look for the man responsible for killing over 3,000 citizens...such a tool.

He was useless on the days he showed up. Fortunately for the country, he hardly ever did that.
